Maybe we should average the number of games we won for the 10 years before we had Aaron Rodgers.

This franchise has won more superbowls WITHOUT Aaron than they have with him.

There are no guarantees that anyone who is brought in will shore up the defense or ST.

Since Ted doesn't believe in FAs all we can assume is that he would do the same thing he has done in the past. Draft and "develop" with a few FAs who have no ties that will encumber future draft picks. That means next year's defense would not be better than average.

Since Callahan appears to be a more dynamic QB, I think he could probably get us to 6-10.
If Hundley was the starter, I'm guessing 4-12.
With our current defense and special teams there would probably be no hope we could even reach those numbers.
Without Aaron Rodgers this team just ain't that good.

I wasn't one of those people. I was ready for Aaron to take over. By the time his 4th year rolled around and he became the starter he had played in 7 games. Attempted 59 passes and had showed a little growth in those 3 years. In his 3rd season his passer rating was 106. You would still expect growing pains but it was time to let him step out on to the field and lead the team.

Huntley on the other hand has tossed the rock 10 times last year. None in 2015 and has a rating of 0. There is no comparison between the two. Maybe he will be ready after being the understudy one more year but certainly not in 2017.

And the fact that Favre had many years with a MUCH better defense backing him up. Rodgers hasn't had that kind of advantage since they won the Super Bowl. An offense that went 15-1, and a defense which couldn't stop ANYONE. Scoring as many points as the Packers did that year, they should have gone 19-0. The defense folded like a cheap card table does at thanksgiving dinner.
