Assuming GB moves past the NYG, can GB travel to Dallas and hogtie the Cowboys ?

IMO, GB can compete against the Dallas Defense, what bothers me is can GB contain the Dallas Offense ? The NY game will tell the tale. F**k the damn stats, does GB's Defense have the physical ability to compete and most important do they have the heart to play beyond their physical abilities ? If so, then Dallas could find themselves in a street-fight. The final outcome could rest with the foot of Mason Crosby.

THis team led the league against the run earlier in the year. They'd bring Pennell back for that, if they still can.

The Gurlz' weakness is their rookie QB. If there's one thin that Dom is good for (and it might be just one,) it's beating rookie QBs. Dallas's emphasis on the run plays to our strength, our weakness being pass defense.

We can beat Dallas. We can also beat the Giants. Let's hope we do.

100% YES. Dallas is a mirage. A very near future fart in the wind. One and done written all over them.

I watched the first 14 Cowboys games. I missed the last two due to some family issues out of state. Not sure how Dallas had the season they had outside of that special OL they have. Their D is pretty beatable. Not quite as bad as ours but it's not that far off. Difference is Sean Lee who when he's not hurt is a super star. Byron Jones can play, too. Aaron can torch Brown in the secondary with ease and the rest of them, also.

Beasley will likely be a thorn in our side like last time... too quick and shifty. Dez should lunch whatever scrub of ours we put on him. Our DL hopefully can and will do a better job controlling Elliott. Dallas eats the clock up so Aaron better not have a cold spell of 3 and outs or not moving the ball. The Giants beat them twice. The Giants! Why? They have the front 7 to match that imposing OL of theirs.

My belief is we can win this one if we can get up from the get go and just pedal to the metal it. Be nice to force a fumble but we're not noted for that and haven't been for a long time. Dak can't wing it like Aaron can. Nowhere close. Ty caught 10 balls vs. them last time.

I'm a big believer in intangibles. This is the place Aaron had his coming out party when Brett got hurt. It is also the place he played out of his mind to lead us to a win and MVP in the SB. He will be wearing his comfortable shoes. Track meet the game and we win. Tempo has to be in our favor or they'll just run over us and we're not going to have enough plays on O. Additionally, Dallas embarrassed us at Lambeau. There has to be a bit of chip on Aaron's shoulder as well as the entire team for playing so poorly. I'm sure Aaron will take care of the ball much better in this one which could be the difference, too.

We'll beat Dallas if we can beat NY. Keep an eye on that Seattle/ATL tilt. That's where we're going next. Curse Catanzaro for missing that chippy to give Seattle the tie and the better seeding than us.

No because They will be shut down by the NYG defense and little Manning will carve up the Packer secondary so they won't make it to Dallas. Even if they did, Dallas would be even more difficult to defeat.

Not sure if the team coming through in "these situations" is a reference to Dallas or NY? I'd have to guess Dallas because we're better in an underdog role, and it wouldn't make much sense to speak to the Giants game only in a Dallas thread even though there's no paragraph break.

nerd is picking the Packers? That is a revelation! 😕 😁

wpr appears to be the only one who is picking NY. Isn't he from there?

I'll be flying tomorrow and won't be able to see the game and I won't be shocked to hear we won or lost this one. The only shock would be is if we put it on them ala Seattle.

My hope is next weekend Dez is wearing some big dark ugly sunglasses giving a teary presser saying..."That's my quarterback..." UNFAIR!

U2, I am from IL not from NY. Haven't you heard the phrase, "Past performance is not an indicator of future results."? Gambling lines mean nothing. All the bookies want is half of the betters to choose one team and half of the betters to choose the other. The line opened at 4 points. Most people are picking the Packers. I am ok with that. I hope they do win.

Safe journey.

Wow, haven't even played Giants yet and we're worrying about Cowboys? Pump the damn brakes!!

One game at a time. Let's get though today then spend a week talking about Cowboys if we win.

I think the Giants are more difficult for us than Dallas. We are lucky to play the Giants at home but even then it will be a very difficult game.
Prescott is not Manning, Dallas is not going anywhere.
