You'll still get fights without alcohol. Violent assholes don't need booze to be violent assholes and unless someone's completely blitzed, there aren't too many situations where someone will start kicking the crap out of people when drunk when they wouldn't do so sober.

I never said it was the sole factor in fights any more than you said it was the sole factor in fights simply because you didn't mention any factors beyond alcohol in your post - while not making an absolute statement about alcohol being at fault.

Alcohol is a factor (but not the only) and nobody has claimed any one individual factor as the only/the vast majority of the problem.
