Sean Richardson wants to continue playing after neck surgery

He was a helluva hitter on special teams and in short yardage situations.

Sean Richardson hasn't played in more than a year, his career seemingly over after a second neck surgery. But the former Packers safety wants to play again, or at least wants people to know that he wants to play again. According to Rob Demovsky and Adam Caplan of ESPN.com, Richardson wants to try to come...

“The worst that would happen is another herniated disk. We had five steps we had to check off to be able to start back playing, and I met all the criteria. I will be able to play at a high level again.”

Richardson’s agent said he’s cleared to work out for teams, and Richardson said a number of teams have called “keeping tabs.”

If he can play and another team wants him - great. I would pass.
