"So if you want to know why the Packers are 8-12 in their last 20 regular-season games, start with the lifeblood of the team. Ted Thompson’s drafts haven’t been what they were."

I wonder what took Dougherty so long to figure that out!

What I want to know is what isn't to blame for the Packers lack of success over the last couple years? Mason Crosby? But then again he sends too many kickoffs into kickable territory... I've heard everything from the running game, to Rodgers, to the WRs, to Mike McCarthy, to TEs, to Ted Thompson not drafting good enough TEs/WRs/CBs/LBs, to Dom Capers, to the DBs, to not getting a pass rush, to the linebackers, to our undersized O line, to injuries, to Schum, to Slocum, to HHCD... Like, I know what this team's record is, but holy cow.

Aaron not throwing it to the open guy has nothing to do with the draft.

Blame injuries if you don't like the talent level.

One extra play in Colts and Atl games and we win.

and one ST TD and pic 6 [like Minnesota needed to beat a bad Ariz team] in Wash game and GB is 3 and 1 instead of 0-4 in last 4 games.

Now the rosters, talent and players are all the exact same in both scenarios. Regardless of being 3-1 under the alternate scenario, the team played like crap. But because we lost 4 Ted is a poor drafter; and if we won 3 of 4, Ted would be a genius.

There's way too much uffda-like wilda$$ irrational emotion. Dont look at stats, dont look at Ws and Ls...WATCH THE GAMES. Last year before Denver game Uffda said we'd go undefeated; now he says we wont win another. The GB media is a bunch of stooges, search their articles for the facts and question those to be sure there's no McSpinn-like objective; but for god sake dont absorb their idiotic opinions.

I'm still laughing about the WRs cant get open stoogery..😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Throw in all the injjuries this year and The Packers talent level is down.

Anyone who expects rookies, udfa's and players off the practice squad to perform mistake free is dillusional

I guess The old saying "It's not the team with the most talent that win, it's the team who is healthiest.

I think a lot of it is McCarthy and Capers are pretty strict plug and play guys where they don't want to alter the game plan to cover for weaknesses they just expect the UDFA who started 4 games in college to come in and know what to do and do it right. That's not an awful plan if you have good depth but we don't this year and it's having some pretty bad results.

Zero2Cool (10-Mar) : LB Oren Burks to sign a 2-year, $5M deal with the Bengals.
