I am telling you, this is not defensible!! This slows down a pass rush too! These are quick routes I've been wanting to see from the Packers.

You run this and it opens up the double move routes. You see the corner creeping, you pump fake and then you have your receiver open over the top.

Tell me, how do you stop this??

That's actually a ahort crossing pattern. He foes down, THEN in. But it's the same principle.

What stops it is a diva QB who only wants to play sandlot ball and throw it deep.

Am I wrong, or wasn't Donald Driver used for that route a lot?
It seems to work, and takes pressure off the QB and the O-line.
They should use it more, like they used to.

Back in the Favre days we used to run slant after slant. Noone could stop it but for some reason we don't like to run them now. Slants and screens and the advantage is both them plays slows down the rush.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
