Not overly shocked, but frankly, he isn't worth more than the 3 years/7 million we offered him late last year. He's much better suited for a 4:3 DT in a Johnson/Bates system than the 3:4 the Packers will be converting to this upcoming season.

I'm not sure Cole wouldn't be a decent fit in the 3-4 as long as they played him one gap. He's not good as a two gap player even though most think that because of his size.....
I'm just saying the Packers need better DL depth and maybe starters. But if healthy I think we're fine with starters but more that could start couldn't hurt.
