Those are all 4-3 teams, and he is coming from a 3-4. He might want to play in a 4-3, but his agent didn't seem to be indicating that. The numbers thrown out there are less than I anticipated. This is a very good DE in the 3-4...his numbers might not jump out at you, but what he brings is the capacity to hold the point of attack, enabling one of our 50 linebackers (joke) to bring heat upon the QB.
Bottom line, impact player at a position of real need, imo. Others are saying our chances of landing him are virtually nil. I think that there is some residual cynicism inherent with that preconceived notion. I'm not saying it is likely, but I'm also saying that the chances went up exponentially as a result of the Haynesworth signing... if we can just get him to Green Bay.
