Haha! Yeah, I'm glad we didn't break down in Sheboygan either! After all, being in the situation, how was I supposed to be Zero's princess, saving him in my white and shining Oldsmobile! Lol! No, we were smart and took my car! Although, there were moments when I told Zero that we should have taken his truck.... such as when we turned through a set of lights and got stuck in the snow bank! LOL! Thankfully, Zero has a heck of a lot more patience than I do. He got us out of the snow... no problem! I'm a lucky woman! Lol!

The Sheboygan comment has a long story behind it. An embarrassing one that we can forgo details.

Ya der, hey Montana Bob....did I tell you about that one time a guy bumped into me while I was drinking from the bubbler....chipped a tooth!!

I lived on the north side.....owned a home just south of Geele Ave. on 9th Street.

Boy, those north/south basketball games were always fun......and don't forget Brat Days and the ever popular Polar Bear Plunge on New Year's Day........drinkin' and carousing at the Harbor View bar and the armory.

Good times.......

Hey der Digs.....youse gotta watch out fer dem der bubblers. If der water comes out normal youse is ok, but 90% of da time dey either flow no water at all, or it's like dat der fire hose from da pumper truck, ainso?

You must have lived near Washington School. I taught there a couple of years also. We loved to take the kids down to Volrath Park and roll down the hills, and go sledding at that park that is along the Sheboygan River. Park right along the hill, jump out of the car and belly flop on the sled down the hill.

I coached track at South HS from 1972-76, then we moved. We always managed to beat North in track, but split pretty even in football and basketball.

Some heavy Beneluxian influences there, it seems. :p

But then again, Wisconsin and The Netherlands seem to have quite a lot in common.
