Do you think Mike McCarthy has a point or is out of line?

Green Bay put up 406 yards and ran for 147 yards against the Giants, but two turnovers, dropped passes and a 23-of-45 night for quarterback Aaron Rodgers helped limit them to 23 points. The performance fit into what we’ve seen from the Packers over the course of this season in terms of inconsistency, particularly when it comes to the passing game, but that didn’t make coach Mike McCarthy any more receptive to questions about the unit.

“You know, we had 400 yards of offense, so I don’t know why the hell I’ve got to come in here and answer questions about the things you think that went wrong,” McCarthy said, via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

You not happy with questions about the offense. Fans are not happy with you not getting back to the SuperBowl.

As much as coaches and GM's don't like mandated pressers, it is part of their responsibilities.

Mike harps on accountability all the freaking time, yet day after day he can drivel on and on about really nothing when asked very pointed questions.

Now he wants to get surly about it.

Get over it.

Estás loco.

I agree. He was asked a legitimate question. He just didn't like the fact that it WAS a good question.

Yes, they put up a lot of yards, but they missed MANY opportunities to score. If we had been playing a better team, it could have cost us the game.
Rodgers had more time in the pocket then I think I have EVER seen a QB have. Yet he barely completed 50% of his passes.
True also though is, that there were too many drops by WR's.
So it's not all on AR.

Until he proves he can recognize a problem and fix it (same problems go on here for more than a season week after week). Until he can hold (certain) people accountable he is going to continue getting questioned. Fix it or get out so someone else can salvage what is left of our window.

The Packers seem to leave a lot of points on the field every year. Whether you want to call it lack of execution or self shitting, it is still inexcusable for a team who has had the same scheme and head coach year in year out to not maximize their opportunities. Take the Minnesota game, you kick a field goal to tie the game up, instead of being arrogant against a top five offense. Shit like that is maddening for passionate football fans.

If the Packers offense was clicking, I could see going for it there, but if you're fighting tooth an nail to get 3 yards, you just take the damn points.

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
