Snack time and watching the game often merge together. Most of us have our preference's . Some of us like different cheeses or meat snacks (like summer sausage). Chips, crackers, cheese puffs, nuts, the choices are endless.

I like Fritos Chips, chedder cheese squares, dry roasted peanuts, and Ice Cold Miller Beer .

The Mexican snack tray runs a close second. Tortilla Chips, Salsa, Monterrey jack cubes, Margeretta's on the rocks (with salted glass rims).

WHAT'S ON YOUR SNACK TRAY ?

Didn't have time to get something before going in. I hate paying for food inside stadium.
Grabbing an omelet from Perkins.

I once knew a fellow that made the best Tex-Mex dip I ever ate. He and his wife used to bring it to social gatherings where Tortilla Chips were the center bowl attraction . Their Dip was a combination if seasoned hamburger (fried & crumbled) , refried beans , sour cream, Salsa , fresh lettuce, chopped onions, black olives, & chedder cheese . A special treat not tasted for 4 years now , as Jack & Rose moved to North Carolina .

What do you put on your Nacho's ?

The NFL Draft , Thursday night (April 27th) , for some is an occasion to enjoy our favorite sport. At the same time some of us prepare like we do for a big game . Part of that preparation includes icing down the Beer and getting the Snacks ready .

The Beer I've already got covered, the snacks remain to be made. I considered different directions such as Pizza, popcorn, peanuts, a veggie tray (carrots, celery, etc.) with a thick Ranch Dip, even Potato/Corn chips with a good cheese dip.

I have decided to go with the Large Platter of Nachos/Tortilla Chips. It will include Tortilla Chips with seasoned Hamburger, Re-fried Beans, Chunky Salsa, Black Olives, & Sour Cream . Finally the whole Platter will feature at least 2 lbs of grated Cheeses like Cheddar and Monterrey Jack .

What will be on your Snack Tray ? [thumbup]

dfosterf (8h) : We do have good depth at running back imo. Still so frustrating. Bitching about it is a futile excercise, which I plan to do anyway.

Zero2Cool (9-Aug) : Woo-hoo
TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
