Figuring out Tauscher's market value will be a challenge. He likely would have priced himself out of Green Bay had he not been injured.

"My rehab's gone great," said Tauscher, who also tore his left ACL in 2002. "The process is just so much easier this time than it was the last time. The pain isn't anywhere to the same level as I had to deal with last time, and my progress has been way off the charts."

Ted Thompson said:

(Tauscher) is going to be more of a medical decision than it is a football decision. Marks a really good football player, and wed hope hell be with us going forward, but thats going to be a medical thing. Were a long way away from being able to make a decision.

I don't understand how they could be having contract talks when Ted Thompson comes out with a statement like that. Someone is blowing smoke up someone's nether regions, imo.
