He's made one play and now he thinks he can tell fans what to do.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Ty Montgomery co-hosted Monday's Clubhouse Live, USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin’s live weekly football show.

Among the topics he touched on were Sunday's loss to the Vikings, the perils of playing football and finding an offensive rhythm. The show can be seen live at The Clubhouse Sports Pub & Grill in downtown Appleton or at clubhouselive.com.

Here are select and edited answers from the interview:

Q: Aaron Rodgers famously told fans to relax following the Packers' 1-2 start to the 2014 season. What's your message to fans who are complaining about Sunday's setback against Minnesota and feeling anxious about the Packers' offensive struggles?

Montgomery: I'm going to go with chiiiiiiill - chill. The NFL season is a marathon, not a sprint. And as I'm sure a lot of you all remember – I wasn't here, but the 2010 season, there was a (two-game losing) streak and it wasn't the undefeated season we all hope for. And we still won the Super Bowl that year. So, just chiiiiiiill.

The fact is we have seen the same shitty offense for about a full season now. We thought that Jordy coming back would help, but it hasn't.

The WRs look slow.

The TEs are barely used in the middle of the field.

Rodgers is happy feet and doesn't plant when he throws. He also looks like he doesn't care at times.

Without the back-shoulder throw we have very little passing strategy.

Lacy still looks fat and slow and hits the line and stops on almost all his runs out of the pistol. At least appears to have more energy.

We still give up too many big plays on 3rd down. The middle of the field is still open for the opposing slot receive and TE.

It is hard to chill when we see the same failings and get no passion from our coaches and our stars to rally the team.

Looks like I have to change my avi to "JUST CHILL" instead of "AARON SAYS RELAX".

"The NFL season is a marathon, not a sprint"
Yes.....this is true......but even in a marathon, if you are only at the 10 mile mark in a 20 mile marathon while there are 3 others already at the 19 mile mark, you are in TROUBLE.

Even as lousy as we played, we had a chance to pull a win out and Rodgers screws it up.
He USED to make me feel like if we were within one score with a little time left, we had a chance.
Now I don't feel that way any more.

I love how every time a Packer player or coach gets a question thrown their way it gets spun back to the Super Bowl win in 2010...WTF have we done since then? That was six seasons ago and for some unknown reason shitting the bed for the last few seasons means nothing because they won it all in 2010...We had the talent to make the Big Show more than once since 2010 but piss poor coaching and players failing to execute has led to a team that loves to look at the past instead of the task at hand. I'm getting real close to jumping on the blow up the coaching staff bandwagon because business as usual isn't cutting the mustard anymore.

Monty's not right. I hope he gets back to where he was, because he was special.

I hate to say it but the '10 Super Bowl keeps looking more and more like a fluke.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

beast (8-Jan) : Yeah, but is Kampman and the others in the NFL Hall of Fame?
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Johnson was Hall of Fame, 2020. Should haev been in Ring a year later, not three years.
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : I could be wrong there though
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Guys like Kampman, Tim Harris, Al Harris, etc all over 15 years. Hall of Fame is 5 year wait
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : I guess I see players in Packers Hall come way later

Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : is it uncommon for Hall before Ring?
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : S Xavier McKinney named first-team All-Pro by NFLPA
beast (8-Jan) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Jones took his sweet ole time!
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Yeah, he's in the ring of honor, just saw video and his name is up there
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (8-Jan) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (8-Jan) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
