Rodgers needs a reset. If it takes being called out in the press to get that done, so be it. Lang may be wrong about the sacks being Rodgers fault, but his main point of Rodgers holding the ball too long and needing to work on his timing is 100% correct.

I have said for years that Aaron Rodgers was making Thompson and McCarthy look better than they are.
Now that Rodgers is off his game the chickens are coming home to roost.
It's time for change from the top down!
NOW, not in February or March!
I know, it's only the second game of the season, don't panic.
This has been brewing for a few years now, it's time for a shake up.
I don't expect any changes, I've been a fan for decades and I know change comes slowly in Green Bay.
I also know that change doesn't always work out for the best, but I think it's time for a major shakeup while we still have one of the best quarterbacks in the game.

The Packers could be struggling for the next few decades after Aaron Rodgers. Sure, maybe Brett Hundley or someone else will be the next Farve or Rodgers, but that's unlikely, at least without some top overall draft picks (and even that's a crap shoot usually).

McCarthy has had long enough to make things right and the results haven't been good enough for several seasons now. Aaron Rodgers should have at least a handful of very good or better QB play left with the right system and supporting cast. Do whatever it takes to make that happen. I'm sure the organization is still confident in McCarthy, and perhaps they are right. I'm just not as confident, and there's plenty of evidence to suggest that recently.

Also, Lang's public comments come from a place of rage, not logic. Lang's comments represent the attitude of several others who know Rodgers lost the Minny game, not by his play, but by his attitude. Rodgers has committed treason, the highest crime in football. Lang's comments show that Rodgers has lost the respect of his teammates and they're sick and tired taking the blame for Lord Aaron's treasonous play. I've actually never heard of a lesser player calling out an icon type player. The problem is 100% Rodgers. The team being fed up with Rodgers' crap is something I warned of last year. It's here!

Child boy Rodgers needs to act like a man and do his job. Every Monday millions of patriotic Americans wake and go to work instead of doing what they want; BTW they do this for a heck of lot less than $24Million per.

Oh and just like Bart Star, Rodgers is not anywhere near one of the best QBs in the game anymore; ya gotta stop livin' in the past.

Rodgers isn't just off he's playing like a bottom tier qb most of the time. He's flashing his spectacular ability time to time but he's consistently been just a really bad QB lately

With a record of 1 - 1 following two road games that ended in scores within 4 points or less , following the last minute loss of LG Josh Sitton , and the return of star WR Jordy Nelson from a devastating injury , patience and not panic should be the order of the day . New Packer TE Cook as well as the returning WR Nelson are only just beginning to get in sync. with Aaron Rodgers. Don't look for drastic improvement against the Lions on Sept. 25th either, these things take time to develop. Look for signs of that improvement Oct. 9th in GB against the Giants.

Last , you must be young indeed to disrespect a Legend like Bart Starr. The QB that lead the Packers to 5 NFL Championships (including the first two SB's) . Shame on you !

Interesting reading.😄

The only panic I see is the rantings on this site.

Shouldn't be any surprise, it happens every year when The Packers lose their first game of the season.

I'm pissed because I predicted The Packers to go 16-0 in the regular season.
Wrong again !

Here's a little advice.

Take what you think you know, subtract 99%, then cut what's left in half.

Sit back and enjoy the season!

I think it's okay to be somewhat concerned over how Aaron Rodgers has played the last 14 games. I wouldn't for a second say I want him benched, in fact, I just traded Derek Carr (& Deangelo Williams) for Aaron Rodgers (& Jeremy Langford) in the OFFICIAL PACKERSHOME Fantasy League.

My only beef is the same thing I've been saying since the Chiefs game last season. He's missing open guys consistently and is not stepping into his throws. He's looking to scramble instead of looking to dump it off.

QB's as we all know have reads and progressions. If you know you're getting tanked, you dump it off shallow the drag route WR/TE/RB or whomever.

I think Rodgers needs glasses.
He seems to think all his WR's are 9 feet tall and can catch a ball thrown 13 feet over their heads.

Zero2Cool (6h) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (10h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (10h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (11h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (11h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (11h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (11h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (11h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (11h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (11h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (11h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (11h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (12h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (12h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (14h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (14h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (14h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
