When I say we're spoiled to go from Brett to Aaron, you jump my case, but it's okay for your co-workers? I see how you are! 😂

I think it's okay to be somewhat concerned over how Aaron Rodgers has played the last 14 games. I wouldn't for a second say I want him benched, in fact, I just traded Derek Carr (& Deangelo Williams) for Aaron Rodgers (& Jeremy Langford) in the OFFICIAL PACKERSHOME Fantasy League.

My only beef is the same thing I've been saying since the Chiefs game last season. He's missing open guys consistently and is not stepping into his throws. He's looking to scramble instead of looking to dump it off.

QB's as we all know have reads and progressions. If you know you're getting tanked, you dump it off shallow the drag route WR/TE/RB or whomever.

I'm not saying that it's wrong to be concerned about Aaron Rodgers or that it's wrong to want him benched. That's fine, and a loose (although a very loose argument at this point, imo) argument can be made for that. I'm just putting things into perspective from some of my intelligent NFL fan coworkers. If any Packers fans have such a problem with Aaron Rodgers, then advocate for his ass to be traded ASAP, because I'm certain multiple other teams would love to have him.

In a way, I almost want it to happen. Not because I have a huge problem with him like some, but just because I think he can easily still be the best QB in the game under the right situation. I'm not sure this is the right situation for him anymore, and I don't know that it will be while McCarthy is the head coach (which will probably be for a long time, unfortunately). He has been one of my favorite QBs to watch. His physical tools are still there, but he might need a different style of more aggressive coaching to bring at the best in him at this point in his career, and I think there are some coaches in the league that could do that. It's always tough to see a great talent wasted, but it happens pretty often in the NFL.

I don't have too much of a problem with what Lang said because I think it's at the point with Aaron where it can't get much worse so if getting called out has a chance to shake something loose it's worth it

I think Rodgers needs glasses.
He seems to think all his WR's are 9 feet tall and can catch a ball thrown 13 feet over their heads.

In addition, the Center and the Left Guard positions are still working to catch up with the other O-linemen .

This team, IMO, will beat the Lions on Sept. 25th , but will not really start to show it's Offensive potential until OCT. 9th against the Giants . Until then, CHILL, GRILL, and wait for the THRILLS .

Aaron was famous for saying if you're open you get the ball. As long as we get back to that, I'm sure we'll all go back to being happy campers!
