Admittedly, I didn't notice it until the Chiefs game last year and it seems to have trickled into this season, so maybe Aaron Rodgers has always had happy feet and maybe Rodgers doesn't ever step into his throws. What made this observation more frustrating is Sam Bradford looked like he'd been in the same offense for the last decade and Aaron Rodgers was just plugged into an offense two weeks ago.

Rodgers has gone something like 14 games with a QB rating sub 100. That's quite crazy for a guy who has a career 104+ rating. SOURCE LINK

The last time Rodgers had a 100+ quarterback rating was against the San Diego Chargers 10/18/2015!!

Davante Adams and Randall Cobb and Trevor Davis were all getting open and Rodgers was missing them while he danced in the pocket.

A few years ago at training camp the Packers had a 3 second timer that would go off indicating that the ball should be released. The Vikings were doing just that. It was a lot of dropping back from center and throwing to a WR who was slanting inward. You can't defend that unless you double cover each WR. The Packers had all 7 WR active and I didn't see them utilizing that one bit.

Rodgers just looks so out of sync and uncomfortable in the pocket which is a stark contrast to what we've grown accustomed to seeing. He used to have that "California" cool back there and now he looks like a Packers helmet wearing deer caught in the headlights.

I'm thinking Greg Jennings was right. The Packers brainwash everyone into thinking they are superior to what they truly are. Where are the changes? Why didn't they adapt? Why can't they run quick slants?

ProFootballFocus has Rodgers graded as the 33rd best in the NFL where there are only 32 teams. That's going to make a lot of people sick, even though the grades are meaningless. If that doesn't make you feel sick, the only QB with a worse grade than Rodgers? Robert Griffin III.

It's obvious that Mike can't or won't stand up to him.

This is going to continue.

Aaron was unsettled from the onset and never fully gained his composure or confidence. He'll either bounce back from this or continue his sub-standard play from here. I want him to execute the damn offense and if/when the play breaks down, then he can go to the sandlot stuff.

All I kept thinking throughout the game was pathetic, the interception at the end was such a shitty throw it was almost a relief that it was over.

Who is the Packers 2016 QB Coach ? Was this QB Coach the same person in 2015/14/13 ... ?
Could it be a change in O-line personnel or coach ?
What about the WR's, are they just not getting open , like last season ?

If a QB is holding the football for more than 3 sec. , then the play is breaking down . If this becomes a consistent problem , there should be a resolution to the problem .

It looks like Rodgers was watching what Favre was doing during those years! Turned into a "Gunslinger"

Rodgers always has had those “happy feet;” but they really weren’t “happy feet.” His feet were not planted, he was dancing like Ali; it allowed him to pivot faster when he wanted to throw in a different direction in which his body was previously positioned. This was a strength.

Today, they truly are “happy feet.” There are 2 things wrong with Rodgers: (#1) he’s afraid of the rush, hence the happy feet. There are 15 or so throws a game that a QB will need to stand fearless and deliver the ball, on a third of these you’re gonna get hit. It is interesting that Rodgers refusal to take a hit is linked with an announcement that he’d like to play into his 40s.

And connected to (#1) is (#2): he’s not singularly focused on his throw. Cobb and Adams have great hands, this is not why they drop so many balls. They drop balls because as the ball is coming they’re entire focus is not on catching the ball, it’s on something else, like YAC or thinking I better catch this or Lord Aaron may never trust me again. Rodgers is just as accurate as he’s always been, like Cobb and Adams possessing great hands, but his entire focus is not on the throw, it’s on other stuff.

He’s focused way too much on the rush post-snap, reducing his focus on an accurate throw.

In 2014, pre-snap he’d approach the LOS with a laser-like focus. He decided where he would throw the ball and if that guy blitzes, I’m doing this; and if that guy blitzes I’m doing that; and if the safety does this I’m going there; if Jordy is jammed I got to release the ball a half beat late, etc. Now presnap, he’s busy watching substitutions and his drive to draw teams offside has risen to a psychopathic level. This is interfering with his focus on executing the play, which is making him less sure of what he’s going to do with the ball post-snap. Note: the OL has been less effective since this draw them offside crap has gotten psychopathic. It is because these guys are not singularly focused on their blocking assignments, their attention is split with focus on getting a free 5 yards. This is why no one else is doing it!!!! We need to do this more selectively.

I also think post-snap Rodgers’ mind is clouded with all kinds of other crap; like, “how will this look on the highlights tonight” and “I don’t think I trust him enough to throw the ball there.”

Fixing it is going to be tough; primarily because Rodgers has become an arrogant dickhead. He not a leader. Ya I know he told Tretter in the huddle and he didn’t do it; but Chewing out Tretter on TV is classless and lacks empathy. 20 seconds left at the 10 and Tretter is supposed to snap the ball not sure Aaron is ready for it…I mean WTF is wrong with Rodgers.

And Lastly, Nerd, I disagree! It was McCarthy who instructed Ted to get Favre off this team; I’m 99% certain McCarthy instructed Ted to get Sitton off the team. If McCarthy thinks Hundley/Callahan or Seneca Wallace can play better; or that benching Rodgers will humble his sorry arrogant ass; he’ll do it. Because McCarthy sees the big problem, we have the same problem as the Bears. On any given day we could have a good to great QB; but it is impossible to win 3 or 4 games in a row in the playoffs.

Even Jordy was thinking, did aliens snatch my QB while I was on IR. But, he is a hope. He is the mate that can come to Rodgers and convince him something is wrong and a new approach must be had.

dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.

Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Cowboys 1st round pick Tyler Booker will indeed be bringing his pet turtle to Dallas with him
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : that contained all prospects info and contact
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Simmons put up an emoji with cheese.
beast (27-Apr) : Not sure anyone is interested in Isaiah Simmons... Collin Oliver might of taken his potential slot
beast (27-Apr) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : He's not that great, but final piece of the script.\
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (27-Apr) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?
