I can't believe I used to be a Josh Sitton fan. I never would have thought in a million years that he would go to a hated division rival just to stick it to ted Thompson. Rumor has it 10 teams were interested and he had to choose the Bears. If that isn't spite I don"t know what is. I just hope he realizes that he has ruined his legacy in Wisconsin forever. We would have voted him Pope before but now he wouldn't be able to get elected dog catcher.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I'll be honest... for $7 million per year... I'll play for any American team, in any sport that little kids are legally allowed to watch and isn't likely to seriously injury me (ie the sport of walking over the grand cannon on a thin wire with no harness would most likely seriously injury kill me, so that's out)

I think I'd prefer it to be some bad basketball team that would stupidly keep me around many many years.

Good. I like this. Media trying to sell this like it's a tragedy. I'm over here thinking it's pretty cool and makes the matchups more interesting over the next few years.

Its too bad not all players are afforded the same leeway with regards to their careers. That is not a joke.

The whole Favre saga didn't even cross my mind. Mainly because the situation was so different. Sitton isn't close to Favre in terms of stature, impact, what he's meant to the franchise etc. Favre was the Packers for a long time, then forced those same Packers into a horrible situation, giving GB no choice but to trade him and then weaseled his way onto the roster of our biggest rivals.

Sitton is just a very good guard, now playing for the Bears.

The Packers did Sitton a favor cutting him now, that's a lot of money.

Where is all the anger and hatred for Sitton, he stated he wanted to play against someone that plays the Packers and the Bears play us twice. But not as much as a peep except for one person. But yet this place went wild when Favre wanted to stick it to the Packers. Anyone else seeing a trend going on here? Didn't Jennings want to stick it to the Packers also?

Oh well lets believe all the hype of us making it to the Super Bowl, Which I really don't see how. We didn't even win our division but yet we are the greatest lol
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

You act like before his antics Packers fans had it out for Brett but that's complete idiocy. Packer fans absolutely LOVED Favre and he had to EARN that hatred. If Brett acted like a man on his way out like Sitton has done instead of a petulant manchild then the reaction would have been a heck of a lot closer to what were seeing now.

TLDR: Sitton = example of a man dealing with his business (keeping damn mouth shut and moving on)
Brett = example of whiny manchild dealing with his business

Zero2Cool (14m) : It's better to have $17m to use on players who will be on the field. That's why trade/release is talked
Zero2Cool (15m) : post june is $7m cap hit with $17m saving
Zero2Cool (15m) : oops meant $10m cap hit
Zero2Cool (15m) : And pre june is $10m savings
Zero2Cool (16m) : Can't make him play.
dhazer (21m) : I am curious why the big need to release Jaire, we have 29 million cap space we arent spending and would only gain $6 million/ make him play
Zero2Cool (1h) : Joey Bosa signed with Bills?
dfosterf (1h) : What they are offering is a left over case of Leinies from the Chippewa Falls plant
Zero2Cool (1h) : 27, 59, 91, 129 gets you Jaire and our 3rd
Zero2Cool (1h) : they give us those five, or even first four, they can have Jaire.
Zero2Cool (1h) : 27, 59, 91, 129 and 136 are only ones worth having of theirs.
dfosterf (1h) : What they don't have is cap space, at least presently at 5.6 mil
dfosterf (2h) : Poor bastards only have 11
Zero2Cool (2h) : Ravens ain't got crap for picks.
Zero2Cool (2h) : Aaron Rodgers is choosing between Steelers and Giants. The Vikings are officially out on him, per RapSheet
dfosterf (2h) : Current cap space 29.6 million.
dfosterf (2h) : Hobbs 2025 cap hit just under 6 million. Banks 2025 cap hit just over 9 million
Mucky Tundra (9h) : beast, this is news to me! Tell me more about these, "draft picks." They seem mighty mysterious! 😉
beast (11h) : Yes, the Ravens have draft picks
dfosterf (12h) : Good luck to him.
Zero2Cool (13h) : Eric Stokes signs with Raiders
Martha Careful (14h) : Tyler Linderbaum C
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Cap space?
Zero2Cool (14h) : Do Ravens have anything we'd even entertain to have?
Mucky Tundra (16h) : I've seen trade ideas of Jaire going to the Ravens all offseason
beast (17h) : A probably false rumor is suggesting CB Jaire Alexander is being traded to the Ravens, again probably false
beast (17h) : Commanders might have a dominant offense the next 3 years at least
Zero2Cool (19h) : San Francisco 49ers announced they have released DL Leonard Floyd.
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Er getting traded twice like that
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Huh, LT Laremy Tunsil traded from Houston to Washington. Never heard of a top OT getting traded in his career like that
Martha Careful (11-Mar) : Minnesota Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. is returning on a three-year, $66 million deal
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : Damn
Martha Careful (11-Mar) : Saints are re-signing DE Chase Young to a three-year, $51 million deal worth up to $57 million.
Martha Careful (11-Mar) : 49ers releasing FB Juszcyk any interest?
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : digits of four
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : four digits
Zero2Cool (10-Mar) : Eh, don't think so. better to split
Zero2Cool (10-Mar) : on new site, would Fan Shout and GameDay Chat show same messages?
Mucky Tundra (10-Mar) : The Hall of Fame stuff probably came from a scout as Zero said; at this point though it's hard to see them moving ZT from RT
Mucky Tundra (10-Mar) : Regarding ZT at C, Gute had said he felt C was ZTs best position after he was drafted.
Zero2Cool (10-Mar) : LB Oren Burks to sign a 2-year, $5M deal with the Bengals.
Zero2Cool (10-Mar) : Based on how it was worded at the time, probably scout.
beast (10-Mar) : I don't think the media person ever told the public the source, but Gute or LaFleur did say they thought Tom has earned his spot at OT
beast (10-Mar) : I think it was supposedly unnamed Packers source
buckeyepackfan (10-Mar) : Was that Gute or Lefleur or someone else?
buckeyepackfan (10-Mar) : Zach Tom could be a really good guard, an all pro tackle, but probably be a HOF Center. Who said that?
Zero2Cool (10-Mar) : It's March 10th. I don't think anything is done.
Martha Careful (10-Mar) : if we think CB is done, we have a poor roster
Mucky Tundra (10-Mar) : CB and OG in FA, narrows down the top of the draft board a little
Martha Careful (10-Mar) : Meh....I hope we can get Ward 49ers or Murphy Vikings
