Does MM and Ted Thompson fully know the plan? They are HOPING just like we have to now that SOMEONE can fill that void. ONE player on our roster has taken a snap at G this pre-season...ONE. Lane Taylor. We have Don Barclay and two freaking rooks as backups on our OL. One of them is ...Kyle Murphy. The depth is beyond terrible. It's frightening.

Our run game might improve and if MM was really serious about running it then this makes some sense to me because Sitton was far from an asset in the run game. Just curious to see if Aaron gets broken ribs from a 330lb DT because of the replacement who goes in for Sitton who was literally the Great Wall of China of pass blocking.

Can not stand this TRUST THE ORG mantra. Why trust it? Did you see it last year? Did it look very trustworthy all last season? How about 4th quarter in Seattle and OT? You call out things regardless if you love them or not. Blind faith is no faith at all. It's pure yuck.

Amazing how Eggels get a 1st for a proven loser glass QB.

Ted can't even get a 7th for an all-pro gaurd

For fun, how about you check into the Salaries of Quarterbacks vs Guards in the NFL. 🤣

So, 7 million for Bradford the QB this year, and $6,074,224 million for Sitton last year.

We literally don't know who is starting where on the OL in Jax. Doesn't sound like a great plan to me.

I think the Packers have a long-term plan in place. It's not Lane Taylor or Don Barclay, so let's just try to chill.

Here are some options:

1. Move J.C. Tretter to guard and keep a healthy Corey Linsley at center. (Obviously, not happening in the short-term.)
2. Move Bryan Bulaga to guard and play Jason Spriggs at right tackle.
3. Kick David Bakhtiari inside to guard; Start Jason Spriggs at Left Tackle.

Frankly, I think the third option is where we are going with this. I thought they drafted Bakhtiari to play right tackle or guard. I never saw him as a left tackle. He doesn't have the quickness or the measurables. Spriggs does. If you draw up a left tackle on paper, then it'll look a lot like him. He has the size, quickness, and strength to man the position for a decade. Honestly, I think this is what's going to happen.

LT: Briggs
LG: Bakhtiari
C: Tretter
RG: Lang
RT: Bulaga

With that said, I'm not sure I'm comfortable seeing the Packers shuffle guys around their offensive line this late in the process. They could have easily trotted out the above lineup in 2017, and rolled with what they had in 2016. Perhaps Spriggs impressed them so much, that they can't keep him off the field. That's my theory. I just don't know how I feel about it, yet.

Chill? Shuffle the line a week before season to a guy who has taken zero snaps all pre season?

This is where road always forks and I get into trouble. So many blindly support the org and get pissed when you give them valid reasons not to. I'm not the bad guy. You want to come together as if consensus makes this a good move. It doesn't.

The move was stupid whether you love the Pack or hate them.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
