Just because the bonuses are used in a few leagues doesn't mean it's a good idea. As I said, some type of bonuses are fine, but 1ish point should be plenty for those achievements, not 2-4. It really over-inflates too many of the scores, imo, which completely changes the outcomes of many games.

Re:

1) I don't remember the world ending. You initiated it, a few people complained, and you caved. I'm not going to cry either way, but I think it's a nice element, but do agree that a full point is too much.
4) Because situations and rosters change (injuries, etc. It's nice to have the flexibility).
5) Somewhere on the league page it said roster minimums are not enforced, but I don't think it will be an issue either way. We're all going to have the minimum amount of rbs/wrs.
8) If the veto option doesn't exist, there still needs to be some time of review by the commish. Sometimes people agree to stupid things that ultimately bring down the quality of the league. Some more seasoned veterans can take advantage of others who aren't as experienced or just don't care. There has to be some type of QAQC.

4- "Lock Recently Added: Yes" ?? The player is locked if they are within 24/48 hours of their game. Kind of makes sense to me, unless I'm missing something? You can drop them 24 hours later.

5- "Enforce Roster Minimums: No" Hmm, thought that was enforced. Looks like FleaFlicker itself is not enforcing a roster minimum. Meaning you can field 8 players instead of 9 on gameday.

8- Zero2Cool will be able to veto any dubious bad trade.

1- because someone isn't perfect and forgot to add the Passing and Rushing bonuses. 😁

2- agreed, fixed. (just noticed I used two of the values you suggested without reading, so must be good suggestion lol)

3- the 200+ yards kick return bonus and 150+ yards punt return bonus are for the D/ST only. I like this because if a team is racking up 200+ kick return yards, they deserve the bonus point. I think if you were analyze the whole "losing badly" being the cause for 200+ yards, you'll realize that it's not really realistic. The returner(s) still have to run those yards.

Stats: The team with the highest average for kick return yards was less than 80 in the NFL last season. I think 200+ deserves a bonus point on the rare occasion it happens.

4- The defense can force a fumble (2) and both offense and defense are able to get 1 point for recovering that fumble.

Good stuff and nice catch on the missing Passing and Rushing bonuses!

Z2C- I had made some comments 9 months ago (while they were still fresh in my memory) over on Fleaflicker. I'm repeating them here as requested:
• - Why is there a yardage bonus for receiving yards (1 extra point when total Receiving Yards is greater than or equal to 150) but not for Passing or Rushing yardage?

  • We should either have one for Passing (1 extra point when total Passing Yards is greater than or equal to 300??? 350???) & Rushing (1 extra point when total Rushing Yards is greater than or equal to 100??? 125???) also, or get rid of the receiving yardage bonus.

  • - I would eliminate the yardage bonus for KO returns & Punt returns (1 pt over 200 & 1 pt over 150, respectively). The KO return one may result just because your team is giving up tons of scores and have nothing to do with how well you are doing. I think the 1 pt for every 20 KO return yds and 15 Punt return yards is sufficient reward in those categories.

  • - Forcing a fumble and recovering it gets your team 3 pts (2 pts forced fumble, 1 pt fumble recovery) but an interception only gets your team 2 pts. I recommend dropping the forced fumble to 1 pt instead of 2 pts. That way a fumble recovery gets the same 2 pts that an interception does and aligns it with the offensive penalty for fumbling (-1 for a fumble, -1 for a fumble lost).
Just some quick thoughts. I've been sooo busy!!

    -0.5 PPR
-Eliminate or reduce some of the huge bonuses for things such as: 4 points for passing/receiving/rushing TD over 80 yards, 2 extra points for passing completions over 25 (that's almost always going to happen), and other random default fleaflicker bonuses. They can make players scores explode to unbelievable amounts. It's fine to have some bonuses, bu, 1 extra point for each should be plenty, imo.
-I like 0.1 points per rush attempt, but I know I'm in the minority there and don't care either way.
-Change waivers to unlock recently added.
-Didn't we have a problem with maximum number of RBs/WRs we could have last year? Maybe something was set to five. It looks like both are set to six now, so that's good.
-Do we want to allow IR for players that are doubtful? I don't care either way, it's probably fine as it is.
-Probably should enforce roster minimums, just in case someone does anything weird. But I doubt that would be an issues either way. Everyone is going to at least have two rbs/wrs, right?
-I see there are no vetoes for trades. I don't really care, but just thought I'd throw it out there. The veto system is kind of cool, but I'm not really sure where I stand on the issue.

Think that's about all I can think of for now!

dhazer asked me to draft his Packershome Fantasy Football team (TTcrushers) for him as he had to preform civil duties in his community during your league draft. I agreed to help him and with the proper ID's supplied by dhazer, I went to the fleaflicker site, where I had never been before, and in less than 1.5 hours I learned the site and did a practice mock draft.

I found the fleaflicker fantasy league site to be Spartan, bland, and not as versatile as ESPN . That aside , I drafted dehazer a very competitive fantasy team. In addition , I have seen how this leagues members drafted and I have reached an independent opinion .

1st, Besides dhazer only two other teams looked as competitive.
2nd Some teams looked like they did not understand fantasy league football , as they neglected to select players for all their team's positions . These teams should finish at the bottom this season.
3rd The remainder will round out the league with less than impressive records.

I predict that dhazer and Doddpower will compete for your league Championship. The winner will be the one with the most luck.

You all can view the teams, even if you're not in the league by going here . It's always fascinating how many roster changes are made post-draft. I think I already swapped three players, lol.

Very fun draft, even though Green Bay Glory stole three of my players just few picks before me! (btw, she's not invited for next year! bahahah)

    Good luck everyone!!
