I'm sticking with the jersey idea. that'll be special. a wii is cool and money would help, but i would think that a jersey will have a special connection to this group of friends who care about him.

I agree Zero.....although if someone handed me a million$$$ I wouldn't turn it down. I think that both Alan and LJ would have a blast with a Wii. That is something they both can enjoy, and if they are like my wife and me, you can use the remotes to beat each other over the head when the other one gets a strike or a bulls eye (darts)

And you're right also in that a gift seems to have more and longer lasting meaning. I think the Jersey idea is fine also, but how many does Cheesey have? I'm really not trying to throw rain or snow on the parade, but Alan has talked to me about really wanting a Wii. Whatever is decided is fine with me...and if we can get enough contributions I'd be glad to get a Wii for him and get it off to him.

Let me know what you all think out there.

I'll contribute no matter what the decided-upon gift ends up being.

C'mon now, a million dollars is a different story than a few hundred lol

How many authentic (in that uncles voice who thinks he's king doo doo cuz he has something special) jerseys does he have? 🙂 J/K lol

I think a Wii would be great. We like ours a lot.

I'd love to chip in, but I hope you understand that I don't have alot of spare money after just turning 18 and having to pay everything myself.

Also, I have no idea how I would get my money there on time, anyway.

I do really like the idea, though. Shows how close the forum is and how everyone cares for one another.

I think Cheesey will be thrilled by either a Wii or a Jersey. I do, however, think a jersey coming from a Packers site where he always shares his insights, means alot more.

The thing about a Wii is that post recovery it could help promote heart health.. a jersey, while cool hangs upon a wall.

Providing we have enough funds, I'm down with the Wii idea. I think our Toys R Us here still has a few left over.
