I don't care. Bert already fell in my estimation years ago. He is free to do as he pleases without me feeling anything.

Notice how Joe Montana's only has 49ers (no Chiefs) and Greene's only has Steelers (no Panthers).

'Tis petty, but seems silly that he would have a Vikings jersey in there. One more way to stick it to the Packers (kind of like wearing a purple shirt to Lambeau last year).

Does anyone know who decides what goes In the locker?

I'm guessing The purple jersey was put there just to appease those Packer Fans who will always hate Brett.

Gives them one more thing to bitch about.

Seems to be working.

I heard on one sportscast that the ViQueen jersey was because he set the record for most consecutive games in that jersey.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Damn, people just look for a reason to get upset at Favre, even after all these years. Grow up kids.

The HOF staff designed the locker not Favre. Give it a rest already.

Semantics here I'm sure, but I think he broke it with the Packers and just extended it with the Jets and Vikings. If what you heard (and I understand correctly) is true that it was "set" while with the Vikings, does that mean if he had been traded Week 6 to the Cowboys (or some team) and was injured after one start, does that mean that uniform would be in there?

I know it should not matter and I'm equally confused by Kevin Greene having Steelers when he played 8 years with Rams and just 3 years with Steelers. I would he'd have the Rams jersey where he was more prolific.

Rams Greene 119 games 72.5 sacks
Steelers Greene 48 games 35.5 sacks
Panthers Greene 47 games 41.5 sacks
49ers Greene 14 games 10.5 sacks

Although I couldn't care less, I've found this conversation relatively interesting. Can't wait for the games to start though... 🙂

Well.......I think it's just so the Vikings fans have something somewhat current in the HOF. Otherwise, what reason would they have to visit the place?😝 🤣
I mean.....it's not like they have Super Bowl trophies or anything else to look at. It took a Packers "left over" for them to have anything in the hall!😁 🤣 😂

I think that it should be in there. Those Viking seasons (the good, bad, and nauseating aspects) are all part of his legacy. They are a reminder of his personality that made him so captivating (the selfishness, the naiveté, the fact that he wanted to get revenge on his old team and actually did!).

I am fine with it because when I take my kids there I want to explain why Favre was such an interesting sports figure. The seasons with Vikings are a part of his legacy.

“Who was that that asked me?” Favre asked. “(ESPN’s) Ed Werder. He said, ‘How do you like your display,’ and I said, ‘I don’t even know what the hell you’re talking about. So I finally saw it this morning.’”

Pete Fierle, vice president of communications for the Hall of Fame, told ESPN that the Hall decides what will be in each display. He said the players don’t have a say in what will be placed in them.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
