I think a lot more people voted for McCain and Romney because of the color of Obama's skin. I think much of the Republican obstructionism over the last 7 plus years has been because of the color of his skin.

Certainly some voted FOR him because of it too, but I think most voted for him on policy.

In the case of Hillary, why would any woman vote for Trump with his rhetoric? Why would any minority?

The scandals associated with Hillary notwithstanding, here's the important thing: For all her promises about how she's going to make America better, she has been closely involved with two administrations over 15+ years and in the Senate for part of the rest of the intervening 8 years, and what's been done so far? Why would anyone believe she'll change anything for the better?

Obama care has been a disaster. And he did it even though he didn't have the authority to do so. That's more like a dictator then a American President.
And Hillary? I agree with your points. We KNOW her record, so how can anyone expect anything good out of her? Again, I think she's hoping the female vote will get her through.
To me it's just more of this country circling around the drain......sooner or later, it will fall.
And for all those that fought and died for our freedom, that's REALLY a shame.

There's a big difference between socialism and a welfare state.

Not leaving people with $150.000 in debt because they got a life threatening disease or would like to get an education is something completely different than having a planned economy.

As long as we have a corrupt government, that spends so much money foolishly, nothing will change. No one in the government has to account for what their area spends, and on what.
They don't care, as it's not costing THEM. It's NOT coming out of their pockets.
If the government was run like a business, maybe it would change. Actually have to account for every dollar spent, and for what.
But they treat it like their personal piggy bank, that they can just take take take, and not have to answer to anyone.
Until we have someone in office that will do so, the poor will remain poor.
And I have yet to see any candidate that will do that.
It's sad.

I see the mensa convention is back on.

I'll just eat some popcorn, so I don't hurt anybody's feelings about their knowledge or intelligence.

I will say this though, compare the bench mark economy numbers between now and the end of 2008 for an accurate look at the Obama presidency. I think the investors in this country are quite pleased, and anybody else with pensions, regardless if they are a bigot or not.

And Obama had nothing but absolute obstruction from the other side of the isle. They must be so proud of themselves.
