It was about 3 degrees celsius here today. Way to cold for my taste.

Want fun... I built my house onto of a steep incline.. with the rapid melting the driveway is now a slick stretch of pure ice.. with deep ditches and trees on either side.

My imported wife from Texas is not liking the slide to the bottom currently.. :lol:

Way to go Pack93z, good pre-planning. Only I did the same thing, but we are on a mountainside and the only angle is 30 degrees up and DOWN. We tried to level off as much as we could without interfering with the gas and sewer lines, but our driveway slope is still pretty steep. I've had times where our cars are parked up near the house at night, and the next morning they have slid down the driveway out to the road on their own.

I try to keep the driveway clear, but when it starts to melt....look out. Water and Sh_ _ run downhill, and there is 3000 feet of uphill above us.

Tell your wife...or get your wife one of the plastic roll up sleds. Quick way to get to the bottom.........Or beyond.

LOL.. well once you get on top, I have a level surface, but the trick is getting there..

It was fine all winter long until now.. but hell it makes life a little fun. The kids love the slope. :lol:

Hey Pack....let me guess. Central Wisconsin location...Wausau or somewhere around there. Stevens Point; Portage??? Those hills around there are bumps in the road around here. There aren't many level locations in Western Montana once you get west of the Continental Divide. Most real estate here is up and down. The first thing people think about here when they are building: "What is the degree of slope in my yard, and where are my vehicles going to end up if they slide downhill?"

Sounds funny but is true. And yeh, spring melt and freeze is the pitts. We've still got 26 inches of snow in our yard and the next week is forcast for lots of melt.....gonna be a bobsled run down to Highway 93 by Saturday. YEE-HAAAAW!

yah thats the best thing to do,i did that once with my friends and my blade almost cut off the goalies neck(stupid lion fan its called street rules,wear some clothes) he was in an undershirt and boxers funny guy tho! we lost our puck that same time and it broke my neighbors 79' firebird front windshield we ran for about 4 miles or so
