Brett has turned in his retirement papers already to the NFL. Probably had them already filled out from last year. Just white out the date lol

He stated he is not sure if they are in yet or not during the interview. But i'm watching the comments after on espn news and the one theory came out that could make sense. But damn did you hear him answer when asked if he will get the buyout from the Packers and when will he go back for his jersey to retire and about TT. That hatred is there still for Ted Thompson so this theory could be true. The Minn reporter stated that where Brett retired the jets go and sign there free agents using up the cap space, then Brett changes his mind and un retires. Thus the Jets would have to release him and he could go play for the Vikes.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

and if he does go to minny I have a feeling he will be booed when they come to GB

but that situation is something I was talking to about co-workers..

but mine was more he skips all the off season stuff then when he and if he gets the itch, the jets will say we can't take you back..They will release him then

and then he goes to Minny

He actually might do better cuz 8 games will be in a dome so the cold wont affect him as much

let him go to Minny. If he did I would be the first one to state for the record that his number nevcer be retired and let some damned punter use it. If he can be petty so can I.
I am therefor I think.

Sad sad sad. Brett has meant so much to the Packers for so many years. Wish he were retiring as a Packer and not a Jet. Maybe will re-sign with the team down the road for a day to re-retire, but I wouldn't expect it while Thompson's the GM. Sad sad sad situation all around.

In part

On his time with the Jets:

"It was worth a shot to go to New York.

"I honestly believe it was more of a positive than a negative. Anyone who followed this would figure Brett would play one year and then be done.

"Part of me was maybe fueled by the wrong reason. But I went to New York no differently than I went into Green Bay. I don't think it was anything to get out of my system. I think I got my answer as the season progressed."

On Ted Thompson and unhappy ending in Packers:
"He had his reasonings. I had my reasonings. Who's to say who's right or wrong. I'm not mad at him." "My stay in Green Bay was unbelievable, and no one can take that way. It is what it is and is unfortunate, and something, it will be dealt with it."

Whoa, hazer is right! The hatred level has reached a new plateau!! I think if you read between the lines there Brett is saying he will never EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR come back to the city of Green Bay while Ted Thompson is employed by the Green Bay Packers. Amazing how much hatred is being spewed!!

And the papers have been turned and filed. Just because Brett doesn't know if they have been confirmed or not does not mean they are. They have been confirmed already. Trust me or don't, I don't really give a damn.

Wouldn't that be "re-re-retire"? I'd be affraid if he resigned for a day that we'd go back through the "will he, won't he" as far as retiring again. lol there are so many jokes to be made about that signed for a day scenario.

You want to finish your career here?
Favre: "Definitely. If in two years, say, they want to trade me, I'd probably walk away. Retire."

Zero did you actually listen to the conference call? If you did you would of heard in his voice and how it took awhile to answer the question. You could hear it in his voice and what about the part when he said he talked to his friends on the Packers but has no intentions of contacting the FO.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
