I think his big issue is his perception of the packers being dishonest with him. As in any business, if you feel your bosses are not being upfront with you there are bound to be hard feelings.
I don't see him being too involved with the Pack until Thompson is elsewhere. that seems to be his main issue.

Nobody is the villain here, that's the thing. Nobody was scheming to screw someone else over. Brett's feelings were hurt, so he's pissed at Ted Thompson etc.. Yet the Packers made the right move. C'est la vie. I for one am impressed the Packers FO put up with as much shit as they did, regarding personnel moves, HC moves, etc..
