Underachieved... Aaron Rodgers led the 23rd ranked offense...and the 25th ranked passing offense?
That's bottom tier offense. We're down with Tennessee (rookie who was injured, too), Dallas (with backup QB's), Buffalo (Tyrod Taylor), SF (Kaepernick under Tomsula), KC (Alex Smith), Minnesota (Teddy B.), and the St. Louis Rams (Foles/Keenum).
For as much as Jay Cutler gets cited as we could have him instead and a proud laugh is belted out...his offense was better than ours and he lost Brandon Marshall and didn't have Jeffery for most of this season...and Marty B. was hurt as well as Forte. They were STILL better than our Aaron Rodgers led offense. Think about that.
No way we overachieved this year... our highest ranked unit was our middling D at 15th.
Now, did we go further than we should have? Absolutely. That was a function of facing one of the biggest jokes ever as a playoff team, the Skins, and a tight Cardinals team who featured a QB who'd never won a playoff game.
Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."
