I didn't see this until just now...

Rodgers was miffed by the coin toss. Said he originally called tails because the official had it facing heads up, but then the coin didn't flip and that wasn't right. On the 2nd toss Aaron contends the official flipped the coin over to tails, before the 2nd toss, without allowing him to change his call. He seemed very agitated about the fact he couldn't change his call and that the official flipped it tails up as opposed to the original heads up. It's amazing that much was put into a coin toss.

Aaron needs to STFU and worry more about hitting wide open WRs.

The vision I heard, is that Rodgers always calls the down side... (and some speculation if some study might of given reason for possibly doing that)...

Tails was down the first time, so he called tails (it didn't flip and the ref redid it)

Heads was down the second time... and heads won it... (but they made him stick to his first call)

It's amazing he's 0-7 career in OT. Hasn't seen the ball in 4 of those. So, he's had 3 chances with the ball and has not gotten it done.

Thought that was an interesting little tidbit hearing about the psychology of the coin call. You provided even more intrigue and education, beast. Thanks for that. There is so much that goes on that we're so unaware of. I don't think there was a person in the world other than Aaron Rodgers aware of what happened during the coin toss while it was happening. Neat to be brought into the thinking, there.

Not a fan of the OT rules. Should just play it out..another quarter of football...or perhaps a shortened period where you play it all out. Sudden death is exciting but it sure hasn't been kind to us minus Al Harris "we're gonna score".

Still, Aaron needs to worry more about his own shit.

As far as the playoff format its simple. Have the coin toss like normal and kickoff then give both teams a chance on offense unless the first defense scores of course. If both score the same next score wins. No need to play an extra 15 minutes. None of this start on the 35 crap. I was fine with the way it was but the change IMO was stupid. It was change to make change and didn't really accomplish much. They should have left it alone or gone all the way with a minimum of 1 possession each.

However they want to do it, just don't leave Fitzgerald wide open.
