Not surprising in the least.. large salary and injury issue after issue.. they carried him last season because the cap hit was so large.. with Slaton there now.. no reason to keep him.

He was one of my favorite Packers. I hope he ends his career as a Packer for sure. He was only like 100 yards shy of the all time Packer rushing yards mark. But he left for more money. I would have done the same thing. When he was having those great years with the Pack he was way underpaid.

But yes, sign him for a day and let him retire a packer haha.

He was always nice to me. I really liked him. If he does want to retire as a Packer, i'd be all for it.
