We went in there with a backup G at LT, and we were still in it until the 3rd quarter.

Mike Daniels comes up with a HUGE play to give us the ball in the redzone before the half. Aaron completely shit himself there, maybe on purpose, but by rights it could have been a close game going into the half.

Then let's look at the beginning of the 3rd. We get the ball, the offense seems like they're ready to hunker down and kick some ass. Stars takes over LG and gets, what was it 12 yards? Thing is, he FUMBLED.

After that, we lost Bulaga and it went downhill from there, with no Ts in the game. Backup Gs at both positions, although I thought Tretter was adequate at RT.

This is the best team in the league right now. It's NORMAL to look like that with no Ts on the field. Shit man, Aaron and Starks don't turn the ball over, it's a whole different show. That's shit we can clean up. And it seems like we're getting some of this players back.

WE HAVE A CHANCE. A chance to pull it together. It's not over just yet.

Team is 4-5 in its last 9 games, including a Hail Mary in Detroit.

GB is now firmly behind Carolina & Arizona in the NFC. We shall see about Minnesota (and possibly Seattle) in the next couple of weeks. The Pack was not competitive in losses at Denver & Arizona. There were also home losses to NFC North also rans Detroit & Chicago.

For the first time ever, there are serious questions about MM's offense and ARod's play.

This has been a transformational year in that there are big, big doubts about this franchise that have not been there the past 5 years.

It's 4-5 in it's last 9 games, true. But remember, we lost the first game to Detroit in a truly freakish manner. Even freaker than that hail mary in the one we won. So let's consider that a wash.

Now let's look at the games since Mike has taken back play calling. We looked like we turned the corner against the 'Boys, imo. We looked shitty but beat the Raiders.

Then we come into Arizona with Barclay at LT. We hang around, with some pretty back breaking turnovers, but only really spiral down when we lost Bulaga and thus had NOT A SINGLE T left on the entire roster.

We get this Oline together (or some semblance thereof,) we can beat some teams. The rest of it will be on A: if Mike hasn't lost it offensively and B: if Aaron is willing to get with the program.

We've got a chance, imo.

Honest answer: I don't know.

We defeated Seattle and Kansas City looking good and we know those are two good teams. Everything went crazy after the bye and I don't know why, I don't know what happened.

But as we are today I think it would be crazy to think we can defeat Carolina or Arizona on the road. If you push me I don't think we can defeat the redskins at Washington and I don't think we can defeat Seattle at Lambeau.

So they will see:
- No Jordy Nelson
- Injuries to OL and Montgomery
- 10-6 or 11-5 record
- Made the playoffs

They will call it a good year and everything will happen again next year.

They will not see that:

- We dumped the NFC championship game against Seattle last year
- We lost to Detroit and Chicago at home
- We were beaten very very badly by Denver and Arizona
- We won a game with a Hail Mary that we could have lost and the opponent was Detroit
- We have no offense

Far as I'm concerned, we CAN beat Carolina. They're a paper tiger. In fact, Arizona is the only team that scares me in the playoffs. Sure, we might shit ourselves against a lesser team, but we ARE CAPABLE of beating most of these teams.

We need guys that can beat man coverage on the perimeter. Teams are begging us to throw and beat them outside and they are winning every time.

Also what is it with all this so called self shitting? Doesn't the other team have anything to do with it? Last time I checked their is another team on the field that is playing the game. Ok rant over.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

No, we are actually as bad as we've played. The offensive line has been plagued by various injuries all season, hindering their cohesion. None of the young wide receivers has stepped up to take advantage of a golden opportunity, our running back is terribly out of shape and his backup keeps fumbling. We're lucky to have the 10 wins we do, especially the Detroit game.

Surprisingly the defense has kept us in most games by playing very well. Our young Dbs have stepped up quite admirably this year. Unfortunately, the ILB position hasn't been adequately filled. Jake Ryan is doing well for a young player, but I expect him to be exposed in pass coverage in the playoffs.

Overall, just another wasted season where we don't legitimately contend for the championship. My worst nightmare comes to fruition, becoming the Sherman Packers all over again. It is very difficult to maintain success in the NFL because of draft position. What compounds this problem is having a GM that is unwilling to bring in veteran free agents to fill holes in the team.

They don't deserve to make the playoffs. The last 9 games have been a better indicator as to who the 2015 Packers are. They are a below average to mediocre NFL team. Frankly, the Packers are lucky to have made the playoffs.

beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
