12 mil SB and 12 mil was remaining on this year's cap. I'm guessing this is where that comes from?

He's certainly earned it. One of the few guys who brings it every week. As a fan, just love watching him go.

A big day for the Green Bay Packers and for Mike Daniels. He's earned every dollar and the thought of him not suiting up in green/gold is not one I cared to imagine. The money is big but is about what I expected if not cheaper than what he probably would have gotten this off-season.

Glad they were able to get him locked up before free agency next year. His position isn't the sexiest when it comes to stats and making plays in our defense, but it's hard to deny he's been a rock for the most part and one of the few defensive line draft picks from Ted that's panned out pretty well in recent years. Neal, Guion, and Raji are also scheduled to become free agents, so I don't think they're going to be able to keep everyone.
