Right now, though, he'd be a welcome addition. James Jones is still the same guy he's always been... With maybe 4.7 speed instead of the 4.6 he had earlier on in his career. A guy with decent body control, but someone who shouldn't be the leading receiver on any team.

Cobb's a good football player, but not a pure wide receiver in the traditional sense. I love what he can do when you have a guy like Nelson pulling coverage away from him, albeit it down deep, on the other side or next to him in the slot.

Adams has all the potential in the world, but I don't quite know what's wrong with him lately. I remember one of his strongest points being his catching of the ball. Not a guy with amazing measurables, but a good football player. I don't know what happened, but he looked a lot more promising last year than this year. Again, Jordy going down hasn't helped him either, but his play hasn't improved one bit.

Not that Denarius Moore is going to fix that fully. I think we'll just have to accept that the passing game isn't going to be as impressive as in years past this year. It's obvious that adding a potential 3th string WR after eleven games isn't going to change everything. What having a guy like Moore could fix is getting that one TD by just throwing it up or maybe allowing the offense to get a little more creative with vertical and underneath routes.

And Cobb says his shoulder is still bothering him, but really people don't care about injuries but wins... and since they're not winning they're looking for other things to talk about.

I've been thinking Adams problem has been between his ears and in his head (which might be started due to pain from the ankle injury or become a bigger problem due to the pain from that injury). Adams has talked about being frustrated by his mistakes and struggling to move on from them... suggesting he'd like to have the DB mentality of being able to move on from a mistake right away... which I think is what happened in the Bears game, he mentally got stuck thinking about his drop(s) and keep dropping more... (weather they're officially counted as a stat drop or not, the ball seemed to hit his hands before falling to the ground a number of times). I think Adams is mental overloaded, from the pain, the mistakes and how hard he's being on himself, which is leading to more mental mistakes.

I liked Pinkard in pre season, if he can put on 15 or so lbs and not loose any speed we might have something.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.

buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : well, he was
