It's now clear that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has concerns regarding the commitment, or lack thereof, that some of his younger teammates have been demonstrating. As the Packers prepare for a second straight Thursday night game, the question becomes whether his decision to make those concerns public will make a difference. Presumably, Rodgers opted to...

If his WRs "prepare" more, will he start getting the ball to them on target?

So how will the players respond? Will they buckle down and work harder now that their quarterback has called them out? Or will they resent Rodgers for trying to embarrass them on up to two different occasions — including one that resulted in, at best, a conclusion drawn by those hearing the words that Rodgers is concerned that the younger players are spending too much time playing video games?

There is plenty of blame to toss around but Aaron calling out players publicly really can't end well. The old saying never throw the first stone when you live in a glass house really apply's here Aaron and taking this to the wild pack of Hyenas known as the media is a fools move. You're a fantastic QB Mr. Rodgers but right now I have to question your leadership. Clean up your own house before you criticize another's .

So we fault Mike McCarthy for not holding anyone accountable because he doesn't name players publicly and blame them publicly in press conferences.

Now that Aaron Rodgers has publicly commented on possible prep problems, he is faulted for lack of leadership and throwing teammates under the bus.

I get it. Really. I do.

First his old lady does some talking for him and now this...tell me how this spells LEADERSHIP?

We really need to stop getting so butt hurt over every word uttered or not said in public. I'm guessing that outside of the 20 minutes of the week he has a mic in his face he has private conversations with teammates and coaches. I'm guessing this message has been delivered privately and is warranted. We extrapolate so much from one of thousands of sentences people say in a week.

Did he call out anyone in particular? Was he over the top?

I'm not kissing his ass, but good grief we're way too sensitive about this stuff.

Lame article, all smoke an mirrors. Show me the quotes that Rodgers "publicly" made, then we have something to talk about. Until then this is tabloid-quality bullshit not even worthy of discussion. This is all predicated on, as the article calls it, a "suggestion" that Chris Collinsworth made, and a "not unreasonable conclusion" made by the author. To me this reeks of a huge stretch by the author, who is seeking clicks. At this rate he ought to be a political writer, he seems to have a knack for it.

As you said, if Aaron Rodgers said " Davante sucks and is not getting a Christmas card if he drops another pass," fine, there's substance. This is just begging for a news story from virtually no substance.

During a recent interview, Player X was quoted as saying he and a few teammates were hanging out the previous night at his house, playing video games and eating pizza.

The next day at an online forum, Player X was criticized for ignoring team dietitians, staying out till all hours of the morning, being too drunk to leave his house and then looking at nude pictures of Kate Upton.

Time to start bringing in veteran free agents that want to win super bowls. Having the youngest team in the league every year isn't putting trophies in the case.
