Aaron Rodgers is a problem, not the problem.

Playing Scared
Rodgers acknowledge he was scared on one play, of one quarter in one game. That is it. He did not say he was playing scared "multiple times". Rodgers later said "Turns out ‘J.J.’ ran ‘Peanut’ into 25 [he meant Coleman] and Randall’s wide open for the touchdown. So it’s disappointing." which explains what had him scared on the play. He made a mistake, that's it.

Accuracy and Efficiency
Rodgers has been off on his 10+ yard passes nearly the entire season. You look at the games with high completion percentages and a large majority of completions didn't travel even 10 yards in the air. He's not leading his receiver to the ball for yards after catch and is rather trying to hit them on the spot. I'm going to give him an excuse here when I say he's probably not leading them because he can't trust them to run the right damn route!!

QBa: 22/43 202 1td 1int 62.4 rating
QBb: 19/31 200 1td 0int 90.8 rating

QBa: 16/34 212 2td 0int 86.9 rating
QBb: 25/37 296 1td 0int 100.7 rating

QBa: 35/61 333 2td 0int 83.6 rating
QBb: 24/38 242 2td 1int 87.8 rating

QBa is Aaron Rodgers, but the QBb's were Jay Cutler, Teddy Bridgewater and Matthew Stafford. These quarterbacks have no business outperforming Aaron Charles Rodgers.

Pocket Presence
Rodgers is not showing his normal Cali Cool in the pocket. He looks like a hamster on crack with those happy feet and he's not setting his plant foot when he has room. Rodgers has often times thrown with horrible form and it wasn't an issue.

Bench Rodgers
There have been a few, a very select few who are yearning for Scott Tolzien or even Brett Hundley. Stop. Just stop it. Rodgers has had 15 dropped passes that if even half were caught, the Packers would be 9 - 2 instead of 7 - 4. The only quarterback I would take over Rodgers for just this season would be Tom Brady.

The Packers need to stick with the run more and sit some of their wounded receivers and hopefully make a deep playoff run. If they continue how they are now, it'll be one and done and heads will be demanded to be rolling.

I think Aaron's pocket recognition and inability to throw a ball away have cost this team dearly. He is taking hits and sacks constantly because he holds the ball 6 plus seconds. He has been a drive killer right along with the receivers inability to catch routine passes on basic routes. The Packers really appear to want Aaron in the pocket instead of rolling him out helping receivers get separation. A few more scrambles and roll outs by Aaron really could help our receivers gain a bit of space. I always thought Aaron was a better passer out of the pocket instead of dancing around in it.

I wouldn't object to putting Sam Shields out on offense for 5 - 10 snaps a game. You damn well know opposing defenses would crap their pants seeing Shields and Jeff Janis lining up. No secondary in the NFL could keep up with them both.

Aaron also refuses to take snaps from under center or allow the offense to run the ball more than 12 times per game. Which of course makes play action impossible.

Rodgers doesn't throw the ball to the WR, Rodgers throws the ball where the WR is supposed to be based on his route and his adjustment based on defensive coverage.
This worked perfectly with Jordy but is clearly too difficult for Adams and maybe impossible for Janis, that's why you don't see him on the field, it also explains the INT against Chicago and the many off target passes we've seen so far.

We need Mike McCarthy to change this we have to adapt to the talent we have and not pretend any player can do anything.

beast (24m) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (25m) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (10h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (10h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (12h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (13h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
    dfosterf (14h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
    Zero2Cool (14h) : Thank you
wpr (14h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (14h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (14h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (14h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (14h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (15h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (15h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (15h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (15h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (15h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
    Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
    Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
