I'm not giving up, no sir. The NFC is weak and every season we have lows and highs, in 2010 we also thought we were not even making it to the playoffs, in 2011 we peaked too early. This sounds about right, we have to be in our best form at the end of the season.

The Glass Half Full:

- Justin Perillonowski: Have we found a catching TE? He was perfect in all the passes thrown to him. I think his style suits our team better than Quarless or R.Rodgers. We'll see...
- D. Randall: Great game, he did everything right, I still see him running slow when he is 1 on 1 outside but he has a lot of energy. Great game.

The Glass Half Empty:

- Mike McCarthy and Tom Clements:It seems MM gave up playcalling to stand on the sidelines like a statue, and now our playcalling sucks big time. Let's get this fixed, Mike should call the plays but we also need someone showing some emotion on the sidelines. We were losing at home against a 1-7 team and I didn't see him yelling. This game needed a lot of yelling.
- M.Burnett: The guy can't tackle and he is not making plays, he is just there and players run next to him.
- Tim Mashtay: Some punts are ok, some punts are bad and some punts are terrible and now somehow you block your own kicker's game winning field goal. This is incredible.
- D.Adams: He caught some passes but he dropped far too many, in the state of our offense we need solid production and Adams is unreliable.
- J.Janis: I need an explanation about what kind of thing he was doing in the 104 yard kickoff return. It seems he thought his mission was to just run towards the endzone.
- A. Rodgers: (see below)
- A. Rodgers: (see below)
- A. Rodgers: Aaron is playing like Bortles, sometimes he throws towards the receiver ankles, overthrows, underthrows, has happy feet, he is playing terrible. The good thing is that we know he is actually very good so as soon as whatever this is ends we'll be a lot lot better.

Next: Critical game on the road, we almost play for the division and we have to get out of the hole. I don't think the Vikes are actually very good but we always play worst on the road. This is not going to happen next week as we can't play worst, so for the first time we'll play on the road better than the last game at home.

If you can't beat the lowly Lions AT HOME, I have no faith that the Packers can beat the Vikings.
I've lost all faith

I'm an optimistic person but this was shameful, and I've become apathetic at this point.

Also I was expecting to see Abbrederis on glass half full list... finally one of the "other" WRs seems to have stepped up in a game. It'll be interesting to see if he can keep it up against other teams.

And I still wonder if Abbrederis or Janis might be better on kickoffs, though the coaches seem to think Hyde is.

Janis' problems are mental, he just doesn't know what he is supossed to do so putting him to return kicks could be at least problematic. In the 104 yard kickoff you can see Janis running blindly towards the endzone and then looking back like saying "what's next?". In other words: he is dumb.

Unfortunately Abbrederis is made of glass I don't know if he can have a career at the NFL.

after todays debacle, I see 5 more losses. The team is just not that good. They are a .500 club. And tell me why Janis is not getting more playing time? He is fast and can stretch the field. I still say this shows how shitty a coach MM is.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
