he isnt a q/b

I said it when he got the 100 mill..He would be out of the league in 4 years because he would wear down.

Most TD he tossed was 20

best season he had 16 tds, 8 ints, but 8 rushing tds and 800yards rushing

I totally agree, LT. The year that Vick set the NFL records for rushing yards, the Falcons lead the league in total rushing yards, and it wasn't even close. With the impressive backfield the Falcons had, if Vick and the Falcons had had the honesty to put Vick where he belonged -- at running back -- and brought in a true pocket passer, imagine how dominating their offense would have been. Rushing for over 2,000 yards and passing for 3,000 or 4,000 yards -- they would have been virtually unstoppable.

I'm convinced by egotistically insisting on playing QB instead of the position in which he was a more natural hit, Vick hamstrung the Falcons' potential success. And yes, I know that in 2003, with a 9-6-1 record, they did become the first team to beat the Packers, who had a 12-4 record, at Lambeau in the playoffs. (Incidentally, that same day, much-maligned Jets QB Chad Pennington threw 3 TD passes to beat Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts.)

If they DID bring Vick in, he MIGHT be working for this man. Regardless of what happens with Vick, if I were Mike S., I would hire him.

oh yeah...this sounds like a GREAT idea! guy has the world at his feet & throws it away doesn't deserve a second chance from the nfl - period.

thats an issue..

If the NFL denies him a chance to come back, then Leon Little shouldnt be allowed to play either..He killed someone while drunk driving..

As much as we hate it ( at least I think most of us hate it) if he paid his price according to the law of the Untied States, then he has the right to play again..

If teams he wants to play for give him opportunity to play, that is all together different...

But if I was owner,I wouldt make sure he didnt try out for my team

I think Vick has a RIGHT to try to get a job in the NFL, once he's out of prison and has "paid his debt".
I just don't think any team has to hire him if they don't WANT to.
If they do want to take that chance and think it's worth the bad PR, thats their decision.

Mucky Tundra (14m) : this game is over
Mucky Tundra (18m) : This might be the kill shot here

TheKanataThrilla (36m) : Ceoper DeJean with the INT scored...bad memories of draft night
Mucky Tundra (40m) : ok scratch that
Mucky Tundra (46m) : Game feels like last years Super Bowl: 49ers started off in control, moved the ball well but didn't have much of a lead to show for it
TheKanataThrilla (47m) : KC jumped and they call it on Eagles. WTF refs
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : If he was offside why did you let him pop the QB?
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : I like that Eagles are controlling time of possession so far.
Mucky Tundra (1h) : If the Eagles are going to win, this is how they do it: jump all over the Chiefs and don't let it turn into a close one
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : Bad throw created that penalty.
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : Amazed Philly got that hit to the helmet call.
packerfanoutwest (1h) : refs just called an OPI,,,bullshit

Mucky Tundra (4h) : *cut down on snaps that
Mucky Tundra (4h) : beast, no not at all. Just seems counterproductive to cut down on snaps to help back ups get playing time and get potential money after cuts

Zero2Cool (5h) : Hey, I'm not saying it's the great idea. I'm saying, it's what I think will happen.

Zero2Cool (8-Feb) : Sharpe didn't celebrate TD's ... crazy I didn't realize it back then
Martha Careful (7-Feb) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe
Mucky Tundra (7-Feb) : beast, you didn't miss much with that one. Raiders didn't update their play calls, audibles etc so the Bucs D steamrolled
buckeyepackfan (6-Feb) : That was quick, one thing Jordan said was he doesn't agree with Josh Jacobs, that the Packers need to go get a proven #1 wr

Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : Easier to get a camera on her in the suite where she can't impact the game by being distraction???
TheKanataThrilla (5-Feb) : This is the least excited I have been in a long time for a Super Bowl. Unfortunately they both can't lose.
wpr (5-Feb) : So why don;'t they have her on the sidelines and doing the halftime fandango instead of sitting on her but in a $1,000,000 suite?
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : Think more eyes on Super Bowl with Swift fans pulling for her TE boyfriend?
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : She dating the TE of the Chiefs.
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : Taylor Swift has millions of fans, yeah?
Zero2Cool (5-Feb) : They did. They are going to show the post production Sunday with plethora of ads.
wpr (5-Feb) : I thought KC already won

Zero2Cool (4-Feb) : There doesn't need to be a topic. There's a playoff prediction thread.
packerfanoutwest (4-Feb) : and there no SB contest over in the other Packer forum, either
buckeyepackfan (4-Feb) : #2Officially Retires!
