As personnel losses mount, Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers might have to be even more creative with roles for players, situation substitution and his calls.

I'd like to know how often we ran it on 3rd and long because we have been awful at giving up the first down.

I am mostly concerned about the Packers defense when it goes up against a team with very good quarterbacks. So far the defense hasn't seen one, so we'll just wait and see how they do when it happens.

Bridgewater is still and unproven rookie. Palmer is good but is not "very good", but he is close to edging it.

Romo is average, Luck isn't showing, Mariota is just starting. Right now there are two "very good" QBs in the league: Rodgers and Brady. If Rivers and Manning are very good then Wilson should be right there, and yes, we beat him.

There are a lot that are close to very good we have not beat, but I don't think the Packers will be seeing the dreaded "very good" qb this season... unless in the Super Bowl!

Also I'm not scared of Palmer, but there is something about the Cards and their new head coach, they don't get noticed (because they're the Cards) but they do seem to do a great job of maximizing the talents they do have and it's pretty impressive. They might not be the most talented but they get the most their jobs have to offer it seems.
