While watching him during the preseason game against the Saints my initial reaction was, that he moves around out there like a veteran.
Granted he wasn't playing against top level competition but from what I saw, given some experience, I believe this guy will be everything we need in an inside linebacker.

He could use some playing time.

Just wish he could get it at a less crucial juncture. Then again it's early in the season.

Wishful thinking is fine, but reality soon overtakes all. With Sam Barrington out, his stand-in will be Nate Palmer. Jake Ryan may get his chance someday, however his day has not come yet.

The Packers will be starting Nate Palmer for a reason, he earned it. In his 3rd pro season, Palmer has repeatedly made the 53 man roster and has grown in skill and strength. I have a good feeling about Mr.Palmer as he steps up to this higher level. Let us All wish him well.
