We are going to see a lot more of Clay playing ILB. As much as I'd like to see Jake Ryan thrown to the wolves, we have what I believe to be very good depth at the OLB position. Dom can continue to use Peppers as his edge rusher and rotate between Nick Perry, Jayrone Elliot, Mike Neal and Andy Mulumba.

Thinking outside of the box and something that most likely will not happen...Desmond Bishop IS available and still has the tools to be the thumper the Packers need on the inside. Mason Foster is another free agent that would be intriguing. However, he was cut from the Bears and they kept McClellin to play ILB instead of him. I believe he is only suited to play the 4-3 defense.

Ryan may get snaps after the BYE, but now it is Matthews and Palmer time with maybe just a sprinkle of Ryan here and there.

Well that stinks. He's a marginal guy but he's also willing to get physical and really take on guys at the point of attack (I think beast said the same in another recent thread).
