A guy makes a one hander in a practice and he's back to being on his way to elite? It was a nice catch. He had no separation, probably because he doesn't have that extra gear, and went up over our top rookie to get it.
You constantly bag on my desire for speed. It's curious considering players fall roundS in the draft due to their 40 time. Gunter went undrafted because he couldn't run. If he had speed like Sam Shields that guy is a first rounder, so, yes, speed is important. Very important. Not the determining factor for sure but still very very important. Davante doesn't have terrible speed...he just is middle of the road in that category.
We'll see what happens in the regular season...bar has been set incredibly high and there's no way he gets anywhere near it.
Starting to get worried that our WR depth is a mirage. We have our two big guns and a bunch of spare parts. Davante has been quiet, JJ hasn't elevated, and there ain't anyone else. Plus, we don't have a legit TE.
