Packers' Myles White hoping persistence pays off

Now in his third season, receiver Myles White has spent 25 weeks on the Packers’ practice squad waiting for his turn.

The forgotten man.

Up to 195 lbs, with Abby hurting and Janis being inconsistent, this may be Whites best chance to make the 53 man roster.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

I hope he stays forgotten.

You can't ignore a guy who makes plays...if he makes enough and some others don't he may make it. That would be disappointing to me as that would mean more talented guys didn't get it done and a lesser guy did get it done.

Cream rises to the top...let's see if it's White.

havent seen much of white, from what i remember i wasnt overly impressed !!

Darius Heyward-Bey had all the talent in the world, but couldn't run consistent routes or catch passes to save his life. That's why someone less talented, like James Jones, has had a longer, more successful career.

Myles White is a 5th WR, at best, on this team...he's a Jamari Rolle type player. Most of you went on and on about how we didn't need to keep him because he was a bottom of the roster type guy who wasn't going to play. That is how I see White, but if White outperforms an Abby he should stick over Abby despite Abby's draft status.

Bottom line is...I just don't think much of Myles White. Ho hum. Whereas a guy like Janis has things to get you excited about him but if JJ can't make plays and Myles can then goodbye JJ.

Consistency will earn you the trust of Aaron. That's where player focus needs to be.
