Wanna bet that Jerry is stewing in his office.. blistering anyone that even mentions this article.. if you hate them Cowboys.. this is a fun read.

I hope Jerry continues down this proud path of destruction.

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/football/cowboys/stories/012109dnspotaylorcol.3756cdf.html

These days, the owner is a joke. So is the coach. We all know the team is a joke, after its annual December collapse culminated with a pathetic performance in a 44-6 loss to Philadelphia.

But if Jerry is mad, then he should be angry at himself for putting this collection of ill-fitting, underachieving parts together. Or for allowing Tony Sparano to leave for South Beach without recognizing his talent as a head coach. Or for a group of faux stars who led the league in penalties and ranked near the top in turnovers.

Bottom line: Jerry is a bigger problem than Phillips.

I'm loving every bit of it.

That 44-6 slaughter put a smile on my face. I love seeing the Cows crash and burn. The look on Cow fans when they lose is priceless. It's better than sex. (Don't tell Mrs. Z I said that).

Hrm.

I have zero emotional investment into the 'Boys success or failure. With that said, none of this means anything to me. Except that another teams fans/media is bashing said team. lol

BTW, I know it's off topic, but Zombie, what the heck is your avatar of? It drives me nuts everytime I see it. lol

No hatred of the Cows? Ever lived in Texas? If you had, you'd probably hate them too.

I have never lived in Texas. So that's probably why. I know my mother hates the Cowboys. She lives in Arkansas, and apparently everyone down there loves the 'Boys. Even my cousin who's lived down there for many moons liked the 'Boys. But even then, it was more of a crush on Aikman (cuz is a female, FYI). Shortly after Aikman retired, my cousin finally saw the light and started cheering for a REAL team, the Vikes.

But, I HAVE lived in WI. Which caused my hatred for the Pack and my love for the Vikings.. So, it CAN work the other way, too. 🙂

It is not all humor, fun and schadenfreude. Thanks to that idiotic trade Jerry made with Detroit, coupled with how badly Detroit sucked...well, it is going to be hard for the Lions to suck in the future. I (as a Ted Thompson fan) cannot help but wonder just how much of a turnaround Ted Thompson could orchestrate in this off-season if he were given the "tools" the Lions possess to do so. Some will recall that I said I hated Dallas more than any other team, and that Williams trade just added more fuel to the fire. How would you like this for a draft this year?

First Round: 1st and 20th picks (from Dallas) ---we have a 9
Second Round: 33rd pick ---we have a 41
Third Round: 65th and 82nd picks (from Dallas) --- we have a 73 and a 83
Fourth Round: To Dallas--- we have a 105
Fifth Round: 129th pick--- we have a 137
6th Round: 161st and 179th pick (from Dallas) --- we have a 169 and a 174
7th Round: To Dallas --- we have a 201

Jerry Jones is pi$$ing me off, again. I said it then (trade announcement) and I will say it again. The Lions MIGHT continue to suck, but it will not be courtesy of that a$$hole in Dallas. I do NOT like having to pay for his stupidity, and WE JUST MIGHT. All I ask is that in two years, when the Lions are cleaning everyone's clock, you kindly remember that foster said he hated Jerry Jones.

It is the Lions Foster... I have confidence that they will blow one of those two picks.

Have faith brother.

dfosterf (23h) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (23h) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.

Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Zero2Cool (18-Jun) : Baltimore Ravens now have signed former Packers CB Jaire Alexander.
