Watt deserved the MVP more than Rodgers.

We had this debate before. The MVP is always a QB because the QB is the most important position in football. Put Watt on that Indy team when Manning went down and they still probably end up drafting Andrew Luck. Add Andrew Luck to the team without Watt and they are a playoff team. Watt does not win his team near as many games as Rodgers does.

The Texans would trade Watt for Rodgers in a heartbeat. Green Bay would never trade Rodgers for Watt ever!!!

The show was best player voted by peers, and I believe they got it right. Seriously Watt is an all around better player than Rodgers. Watt sacks qbs, gets ints for tds, causes and returns fumbles for tds and tackles guys for losses. That is only on the defensive side, now they line him up at TE and sometimes even flank him out all by himself to catch tds. They don't put him out there as a gimmick he is there because he can catch the ball. They even line him up at fullback to be a lead blocker. So yes he was the best player in the nfl last year by far.

If any of you even watched it he kept saying a qb will always be more valuable because he touches the ball all the time.

jj watt who he voted 2nd
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Watt is an incredible player and deserves any award/nomination he receives. Rodgers finishing 2nd to Watt is no slight to him.

I still have dreams about JJ in a Packers jersey...

It really isn't fair. DE and QB are such different positions. Watt is the best at his position, thats for sure!
And as QB's go, I wouldn't trade Rodgers for any other one in the league.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Possibly hit his head leaning into the glass protecting the food in the cafateria
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Maybe a low flying drone
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Did Savion Williams run into a goalpost or something?

Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : @AndyHermanNFL Jordy Nelson out at camp today. No word if he’s in play for one of the two open roster spots ; )
