The Patriots head coach says he uses the first four games to try different things to see what works and what doesn't.

It's not surprising to see teams take time to get into the swing of things with the revisions to the offseason schedules since the new CBA. The first quarter of the season has evolved into an extended preseason.

I appreciate the Packers taking steps to address it, but you just don't have the time to work with the team like before .

In 2014, after 4 games, the Patriots were 2-2 and the Packers were 2-2. After 6 games, the Seahawks were 3-3.

In the last 4 games of the regular season, those 3 teams were 10-2. (Interestingly, both of the losses were to the Bills.) Clearly the slow start doomed the 3 teams season.

Nobody wins the Super Bowl in September.

It's 'Coach Talk'. 80% of all coaches use it. They try not to say anything controversial or noteworthy. They agree with reporters opinions. This is not new.
