I think they should at LEAST try Barnett out there. He's too small to be in the middle for us IMO. He's still a good LB though, so we need to find him a place that he's effective in this system.

LBs - James Harrison, Ray Lewis, Patrick Willis and DaMarcus Ware

DL - Kampman, Ngata and Richard Seymour

What? A man can dream right?

In reality though... I hope we'll pick up a good NT tbh, although we'll be stuck with alot of DTs, especially for a 3-4, in that case.

LBs - AJ Hawk, Desmond Bishop, Nick Barnett, Brady Poppinga.

DL - Cullen Jenkins, (Moala, Haynesworth, Brace) Pickett, Kampman.

That would pretty much be the same way we play 4-3. I do hope we get some good DL-er.

I never really follow Barnett off the field since I am more interested in other players. Is he the money type guy? I don't know where i read this (might have been on here) but it was something about he didn't want to move to OLB because he wanted MLB money? I could be wrong, just correct me if I am.

I think Barnett would be a key OLB. He has the speed and he is a good size for that position. He would be fast off the outside. With THAT being said my wish would be something like this.

---------------Kampman/Poppinga
--Jenkins
---------------Hawk
--Pickett
---------------Maualuga
--Kampman
---------------Barnett

I would move Kampman to an OLB if we were to pick up someone like Bertrand Berry. If we were to get Peppers, I would rotate Peppers and Kampman at both positions, always having them on the field together because that would just be sick.
When I do this my thoughts go so many different ways, I could make like three more that I think would be ideal and others might think are stupid...haha.

*notice I used alot of 'ifs'

I don't think Barnett would say straight up that he doesn't want to play OLB. I don't think he wouldn't do it just because of money. I never heard him say that he didn't want to do it, either. I'm not saying he didn't say it, but I never heard of it.

I could be wrong.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : @AndyHermanNFL Jordy Nelson out at camp today. No word if he’s in play for one of the two open roster spots ; )
