IF....and it is a big if....the Packers find that they can trust the character of BC's BJ Raji, he could be a beast at the nose for the Pack for years to come.

Other DL/LB considerations you are leaning towards, and why?

I like BJ Raji, I was watching the senior bowl practice and he was lighting it up. I also like his teammate Brace. He did well too.

I have kind of a hard time figuring out why people say Raji is an IDEAL nose tackle. I was leaning towards him as a DT, but he is more of a penetrator and disruptor than an anchor. Brace is the one who anchored that D-line and allowed Raji to create havoc along the line and in the backfield.

Seems he would be capable of functioning well in both scenarios....wit the added benefit that he CAN get to the QB, or in the backfield, if the situation cals for it.

Well a lot of fans don't get to watch a ton of BC games, so they go by the measurables and not the tape. With the said, I think Raji could play the nose, although he is better suited to be in a 43. I like what Brace brings to the table. I get the Boston stations on my satelitte, so I watched about 4 or 5 BC games this year, plus the Senior Bowl practice yesterday. He looks like a solid nose, and would come much further down in the draft than Raji. With that said, I think both can be starters in the NFL and I wouldn't complain with either.

True. I still live out here and went there so I had reason to watch (and the D was the only exciting thing about them this year). Raji could maybe play the nose, but I don't see him as IDEAL for the nose, that's all I was trying to say. Brace is a stronger anchor, but he has the injury concerns.

Just hope if we get Brace or Raji, or any defensive tackle for that matter, that they don't become a Justin Harrell.

I say whoever we draft at #9, we boo him and go apeshit from the very beginning, and then call him a bust everywhere no matter what he does.

Call it an experiment.
