If you want to judge Ted's ranking amongst present day G.M.'s ask yourself this question?

If Ted was available to hire right now as a G.M. ... How many teams would make him an offer?

Ted Thompson is, again, a function of Aaron Rodgers. I'm not sure why that escapes so many? Tom Brady has netted the Pats FOUR rings, and has been there SIX times. Favre and Rodgers together have been there 3 times. That is a function of NOT fielding a sufficient team to net SB victories or appearances unless you'd like to say Brady is just better than Favre and or Rodgers.

New England's D has been much better than ours over the years. Ted Thompson has consistently failed to put an adequate D on the field. Again, again, again and again the fans cry...draft defense, defense, defense. That's really pathetic to be saying that for how many years in a row now? FAILURE. Offense is covered because of Aaron Rodgers...the one area he can't fix is the one side of the ball Aaron doesn't play on and our ST's are brutal year after year, also, because there's no Aaron Rodgers covering for that unit either.

It just never gets old hearing how wonderful Ted Thompson is.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Can you please expand on your thoughts.

Seems like a pretty week argument you have going since. The Pats won 3 of their SB's before Ted took over in Green Bay.

Kudos to them winning once again, although once again there is that cheating cloud hanging over their heads.

With your self proclaimed vast knowledge of football , you should be able to come up with a more solid argument.

DAMNIT if Ted had only signed Jimmy Graham, then you wouldn't be so hard on him.

Buck...it was laid out in pretty simple and clear terms. Not sure that you don't understand rather you just don't want to.

In addition to getting hosed in '09 and shitting ourselves in '14, we can add injuries to the reasons we don't have more rings.

That ain't on Ted either.

Of course I only played the game.

I don't have your expertise into The inner workings of a football franchise

Your gonna have to explain to me one more time why Ted Thompson's way of doing things is the wrong way.

Should be easy with your superior intellect and your vast resources you have access to.

How about 5 or 10 articles written by your inside sources.

That may convince me.

I just want it explained to me how it was ever possible to win a Super Bowl trotting out the garbage at inside linebacker we've had since Bishop got injured. That was a complete weakness that should have been addressed and wasn't. And if casual fans can look at that as our Achilles heal, you can bet your ass that paid offensive coordinators knew how to shred us.

Currently, Ted Thompson is no better than Mike Sherman in that he is wasting golden opportunities in having a first ballot hall of fame quarterback - and not winning the championships. We might be kicking a lot of asses year in and year, but the Packers are going down as choke artists in the playoffs.

Don't. Try and spin this around.

You argument is weak.

No GM is perfect,

Yet You seem to think Ted Thompson is one of the worst in the league.

You have given no valid reasons.

I asked you to post all those articles saying why ted should be replaced.
I can't. Find then.

What is the GM's job?

I think I know, but I need you to tell me, then maybe it will all make sensem
