The Packers don't start off-season workouts until April 20, so it's hard know how the new offensive setup will work for Rodgers now that Clements is the playcaller, Edgar Bennett is the offensive coordinator and McCarthy is overseeing the entire operation.
But there's little doubt that Rodgers' influence will continue to grow.

This is a major concern I have heading into this season.
It seems to me that the only reason Tom Clements has been kept around, is because Aaron wants him there. I mean, you're gonna promote Edgar Bennett to OC, but then give play calling duties to Clements? That's just F'n stupid.
Clements has banged around the league for a LONG time, and he's NEVER been "The Man." So what gives him juice in this situation? MAYBE it's because he's a yes-man for Aaron Rodgers.
Keep in mind, we've also got Alex Van Pelt, an up-and-coming talent on the offensive staff. He could get pushed out or just end up leaving. It just bothers me, because if Clements had "it," when it comes to playcalling, it just seems that he would have demonstrated that at some point in his career before the age of 60. We've got two young rising stars on the offensive staff, why not give them a chance, see if they've got some fresh ideas?
Maybe because Aaron is pulling a "Favre," demanding the keys to the franchise.
I do NOT know this to be the case, but something just doesn't seem right in this situation. Then again I was against the new "let them run against us" philosophy on D last year too, and that turned out just fine.
I do think Mike had to step aside in that regard, whoever they got to replace him. This team needs someone who's gonna cut it loose and take no prisoners. Too bad Vladimir Putin isn't available. lol
