All,
Just a quick note to let you know ... my mother passed into His hands last night a little after 9. Her passing was peaceful. The nursing home people let us know Thursday that it was likely to be just a few days, but those days were free of the restlessness and pain that had bothered her on and off since she had returned there from the hospital shortly before Christmas. My sister had time to deal with a bad cold and still made it home to be with her both Saturday and yesterday.

Me, I find myself strangely easy and content. I guess my faith has grown stronger than I think -- because I know my Mom's faith was strong, I don't just hope she's with Him. I know she is. And I find that cause for happiness amid the accompanying sadness.

Thanks for all your support over the last months and years.

While I am sorry for your loss; it does lessen the blow reading that she passed away peacefully for someone outside looking in. That's something I always hope for that is if one must go, they go peacefully and with as little pain as possible.

Wade, my heart goes out to you. Losing your Mom is not easy. Faith is the ONLY thing that can lessen the blow.
Some day we can all celebrate Heaven together.
