Should Ted allow Tramon to save face and up the offer to $8.1M /2yrs to bring him back (next week)?

Veteran Tramon Williams remains unsigned after first three days of free agency.

No. I would offer him $6 million for 3 years. Greed should not be rewarded.

I was thinking keep the signing bonus the same but up the imaginary second year ... He can say he tested free agency and decided to come back to win like the others...

Didn't Al Harris hang with us until he was 34? Al was physical and couldn't run... Tramon runs better but is far less physical. If Tramon was more physical I think there would be more reason to bring him back.

32 doesn't have to be the end but do you want Tramon covering guys like Mike Wallace, Calvin Johnson and Alshon Jeffery? I don't.

Tramon is NOmart spelled backward. I want Ted to shop at Nomart when it comes to Tramon. Move on. Honestly, would we want to sign him if he was a member of someone else's team last season? No way. So, just because he was a Packer last year and many prior doesn't mean we should sign him, again, just because he was.

What's Ahmad Carroll up to these days? I heard after a several year run up high in the mountains wearing boxing gloves under the tutelage of Mr. Miagi has taught him proper technique. It is time to call him in to get something out of another of our failed 1st round defensive picks.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."
