Seeing that at backup tackle got an average of $7 million plus, I am going to assume Bryan Bulaga will ink a deal around four or five years totaling in the neighborhood of $35 million give or take depending on the years of the deal.

Below are some who are saying sources believe Bulaga is remaining with the Packers.

Arrigo has never been right about anything ever regarding free agency.

If it is going to be down to the wire how can it sound like he will end up signing with the Packers. Down to the wire to me means its a toss up. "Sounds like he will sign" seems to be a bit better odds than a toss up.

How about this Bryan Bulaga will sign with the Packers unless he decides not to.

I have a feeling he will re-sign with Green Bay before FA's hits tomorrow. All tho if it's more then $6 million a year, I wouldn't want him back.

It isn't our money so why should any of us care, just lock his ass up and draft defense. Well technically, I am an owner.

I honestly don't understand the idea of fans wanting Cobb back at just about any cost, but they worry about over paying the guys giving Rodgers the time to get the ball to Cobb...

Bulaga might be the most important OL on the team... Bak is at the most important position, but he doesn't play up to Bulaga level... Sitton plays up to Bulaga level but it's at OG and he doesn't have to deal with talented edge rusher protecting more space as he doesn't have linemen on both sides of him protecting his edge.

The Packers have the NFL's best QB... they need to protect him... and the best way to do that is to get the best OL (especially OTs) that they can.

The 3 sources listed are a guy who worked at KFAN after I left... Joe freaking Arrigo and Michael Rodney whom I do respect as a packer source. However, none of these guys are the automatic locks that a Glazer, Mort, or Schefter is.

7 million is WAY too much for a guy like Bulaga. Ted is out of his mind if he pays that and I'm betting he won't. I thought 4 was fair for Bulaga and his injury history. I could see stretching to 5 but any more than that is way too much.

The gap between Bulaga and Barclay and Tretter ain't 5 million so there is no logical reason to pay it UNLESS Ted Thompson likes the idea of having BB available as a viable backup LT. Then, and only then, would it make any kind of sense.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."
